    Westchester Airport article

Small article about HPN, what I found interesting was that an Airport spokesman says that all Airtran flighs are full !!!

Does anyone know if the 717 is now the largest scheduled aircraft at HPN? It would seem so...Must be real quiet as those folks in Greenwich really don't like noise.

    Yes is its.....now
Not too long ago HPN had
    UAL 733
    NWA DC-9s
    AAL F-100s, 738s
    at the same time.
Now its just commuters and TRS 717s

As Senga posted above, we used to have numerous 733s, 738s, DC9s, F-100s come in all the time.

I wouldn't really say it's all that quiet, but the Westchester One departure procedure helps reduce the noise by departing aircraft over less noise-sensitive areas. There is also a Voluntary Restraint From Flying (VRFF) period from 12 midnight to 6:30am.

Nice article. I take TRS all the time now, it's so convenient!
