    North American Airlines Extends Leases on Two Boeing 757-200ER Aircraft

    JAMAICA, N.Y., Nov. 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- North American Airlines, a wholly owned subsidiary of World Air Holdings, Inc. (OTC: WLDA.PK - News), has extended its leases for two Boeing 757-200ER passenger aircraft, one from ILFC and one from GECAS, until May 2013 and May 2014. The previous leases were scheduled to expire in 2007 and 2008. The aircraft are utilized for North American's charter and scheduled services. The remainder of North American's Boeing 757 fleet is leased into 2012.
    North American Airlines is a U.S.-certificated air carrier offering air transportation services throughout the world for the U.S. military and commercial customers.     World also extended their leases on six MD11s....1/2 pax and 1/2 cargo.

    wasn't North American started by EL-AL as a connector to their international flights from places like Miami, chicago, etc...
    Overheard on JFK TOWER - S Turns are fine, U-Turns are bad....

    It did indeed feed El Al flights at JFK/MIA but was a privately held American company up until early last year.

    NAA started in 1990 and El Al was their first client along with Club Med for vacation charters.
