Thanks for the encouraging words guys - all of you. I am glad people enjoy the thread.

BelluccimanIt was NOT fun......it SUCKED, but it pays off in the end....spending that much time out- after a while you start to ponder things like why am I here the meaning of life and self introspection.... :)

Outstanding work Senga... we'd never get the full scope without you..
Yes we would cause we have you :) If I recall I spend half the time hanging out with you in "the field" When I go you must carry the torch!

It had been suggested that the PAPD isn't too keen on all these huge planes flying in. I noticed this year many of the larger planes have been replaced with smaller airliners and or corporate jets.

The Brunei was a lucky shot.. I was very happy to get that one. I thought it had left NYC 3 days ago.

    Bravo- Senga !

awesome work brother !, I look forward to the fall/winter '06/'07 ,and the return of our EWR overnights, so I can grab a crew car and do some good spotting on the old sod, in the meantime, this website keeps me current. The blue and white 727's are coming !!!!(starting in Oct. !)
The beehive hummm of the JT9D and GE CF680C2,the thunder of the JT8D-17,the rumble of the PW1830 and the high ,thin whine of the PW 545A are all music to my ears!

I didn't think I had missed much as I thought about flying to JFK at the last minute and didn't.. but I was wrong!

The Zimbabwe 767 showed up again this year..That would have made the trip worthwhile all by itself. I wouldn't have been there for the IL62 or the Brunei, the other two I would have really loved to get since I already have the Tame. On that weekend I could have also gotten the MEA and the Qatar A340 but that's not all that rare (trying to console myself here) ;)

Jran225, Do you know if the LAB that goes to IAD is the one with the latest colors, (white tail) or the one in the same livery but with blue tail? or both..

I was shocked too to see the Zimbabwe 767 again.. a little disapointing being that I got it last year so it makes all my effort meaningless :(

The Tame comes a few times a year.

Heres my shot from IAD August 14th06 ..(white tial)
