Aerolineas Argentinas axes JFK on 9/9

Unfortunatley Aerolineas Argentinas will be cancelling flights to New York on September 9th. Aerolineas has been operating a three times weekly flight via MIA with the A340-200.

So this year we are losing Biman and Argentinas, and getting Etihad. Anyone know of any other international operators entering or exiting the NYC market this year?

wow they must just have the crew that brought her in one day bring her out in the morning, i remember when it used to be a morning arrival 8ish and back out at about noonish or somthing. I used to see it over my house at about the time I was walking to the bus stop at my house in Long Beach. 1999 2000 time frame

I remember working that AR flight way back in 99-00 when we handled them at JFK, thing always went out virtually empty on the JFK-MIA segment. Two or three cans, tops.
