Bruce Dickinson is a 757 First Officer now

It seems according to A net that Bruce Dickinson lead singer of Iron Maiden fly's 757's for a British charter airline. How awesome is that chick magnet/757pilot/Rock Star that is my ideal life.

He's been one for a while. He flew for Astreaus on the 737 and then on the 757.

He has been a commercial pilot for some years now. I remember an article in UK Airliner world a few months ago about him and the airline.

I spent a whole weekend with him and the rest of the Iron M crew in Argentina in early 90's after my friend won a competition to travel from UK to BA in Argentina to attend a concert and play soccer with them. Unbelievable experience and Bruce D was a really down to earth to guy.

Thanks for reminding me of the trip.

I didn't know that, very cool. What a career change.

It isn't a career change. He does both - first officer on the 757 for Astraeus and plays Iron Maiden in between times. I guess Astraeus are a pretty understaning employer when Iron Maiden are touring or recording!
