    DC-8 HB-IGH visits JFK

HB-IGH flew into JFK today. On the scanner the pilots used "Congo Zero One" as the callsign. Flight trackers earlier had it listed as the registration but updates stopped. Someone goofed :)
IGH is spotting its new colors. Perosnally both sucked but I like the older colors better.

    Old colors

Also noted at JFK was Eurofly A319 at term 4- unshootable thx to a jetway.

where were you shooting from? God i love JFK , what a lovely 8.
The beehive hummm of the JT9D and GE CF680C2,the thunder of the JT8D-17,the rumble of the PW1830 and the high ,thin whine of the PW 545A are all music to my ears!

Nice shot of the 8 Senga.

The Eurofly A319CJ is 5x weekly now but it's a night flight normally so tough to shoot.

Nice shots Senga. I saw this on Flightaware this morning while I was in computer class and hoped I would see it over my school at some time since it came from SWF.

    Mike,
It came in at about 8pm...so ti would have been shootable still. Hopfully it will hold true to this time next time it comes. Maybe nexty time while its at the gate it will be shootable netx time too so we do't have to wait to see it land.

727C47..I shot it from the mounds......BTW the mounds have massive overgrowth there. I botched the shots as it was comming to me because I wasnt able to get a clear shot of the plane untill it was abeam me position. I couldn't clear enough weeds before the plane landed.

I also had to fight the yard watering devices clicking things ..got my camera and myself sprayed with water.

    Iberia,
IGH landed on runway 9 SWF. Is this in line with your school?
I thought about heading to SWF tomorrow to see more of it maye something else will be there too. B763 VP-BKS departed SWF-EWR after dark. I LOVE SWF.

The sked arr time for GY900 is 820pm. Even if it comes in early (8pm) it's a bit early for what I consider "shootable" (ie. perfect sunny slides) but certainly on digital you could grab a decent shot.

PS- I was there this Sunday with Jayson Whitebird, Art, and got near eaten alive!
