Yankee Met game flyover May 19th at Shea

For the Military appreciation game on Friday May 19th they are scheduled to have a Herc from the 106th ARW from Westhampton do a flyover. Wish the Air Force would have provided something louder but may make for som good shots!

Is it Yankee Stadium or Shea Stadium this series?

The thread title would indicate Shea, I assume.

Actually, if past flybys are any example, the Marina would be good, as the planes tend to fly over the Stadium a little to the north from east to west. With the evening sun, that marina should be good.

I'll have to see how the view is from the upper deck - I have tickets that night.

Anyone get any pics? I saw it fly over Great Neck at about 7pm for the flyover.

I was still on the Whitestone Expy when it flew over - with the mess on the Grand Central, it took 3 1/2 hours from Melville to the ballpark. I did see it go overhead, but the camera was in the trunk.
