This was one of their hair brained schemes back in Dec. 2001 after filing bankruptcy. Split the divisions, show how profitable cargo is...but that also allowed them to rid themselves of all their cargo employees.

Now that the dust has settled, bring the cargo division in, without all those high paid and benefits due employees. Their day to day cargo folks are all contract workers making min. wage.

Sorry if I sound bitter, the original decision cost me my job there after 16+ years.
