    Art Brett In Malaysia

    Hi all,

Im TK from Kuala Lumpur Malaysia.
I do know a few of you all here when i came to NY last year and we did some spotting at JFK.

It has been a while i have not flown to EWR, so Art and Anne pay a visit to South East Asia.

    That includes KUL.
He came on WED April 19th from Amsterdam, and they stayed with us.
Here they are with my girlfriend Sharon at the base of Petronas Twin Tower.

    :D

we went up to the Sky Bridge, which is at the 41st Floor for a great view of the City

Today (April 21st), Anne and Art left for Phuket.
I will be joining them in BKK on TUE and they will come back to KUL again for a real Spotting session in KUL...under the HOT sun!!

Sharon manage to take a shot of their plane departing for PHUKET, 1:15 hour flight to Paradise.

Hope you all have FUN.... I did!

    have a ball!
And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.

I believe I read somewhere Art will be in AMS again the 30th? Do you know something about that? Well if the weather is good and he's up for it perhaps there is something to arange car-wise ;).

(Strange btw, talking from AMS to someone in KUL, via a NYC forum, talking about globalisation)

    Hey TK

Tell Art to "smoke it up"

The smoking law went through in NJ! (bout time!)

On the downwind leg of the trip now ...

Spent the last three days in BKK with TK and have returned to KUL tonight. Lots of fun and sightseeing, but not to many airplane pics. Yesterday at BKK was the only full day of spotting so far.

Leaving KUL on Sunday Apr. 30th and arriving AMS that evening. We overnight in AMS and will be shooting on Monday until we leave for our flight about 4. Then, unfortunately, it's back to the normal grind. If you're around Jurgen I'd love to meet with you. We'll be spending the night with friends south of Utretch and coming back to the airport sometime Monday morning.

Art is now on his way to AMS (again)
we were in BKK from Tue-Thu. On wed we went to BKK terminal 1 observation deck...weather outside was cloudy...so an approach shot will be with the grey sky!!

    we ended up indoor.

    Art,

welcome to the Netherlands! I hope you had a good flight from KUL. Are you still up for some AMS action tomorrow? I don't have to work tomorrow, and I have a 'car' (very small, but it drives) so I'm up for it. Let me know your plans, and I'll be there.

    //edit

I'm planning on catching a Transmile MD-11F departing at 0945 from the S-platform (MP cargo) if the weather is good enough. Will check this thread before leaving (and will keep an eye on it while at AMS) but feel free to call me at my cellphone ( +(31) 6 431 26 146 or 06-431 26 146).

Hi. Arrived AMS last night and am at friend's house now. It's 10 a.m. now and just got your message. Not sure when we will leave for the airport. I have your number and will call when in the area. It's gray here so we aren't in to much of a hurry to leave. Our flight is at 6 p.m. so we only have until about 4 p.m. for shooting. If we don't meet thanks for the offer, until next time. Hopefully we can meet though even if only for a few minutes. Having breakfast now and will head to the airport shortly.

LOL, just like me ... inside airconditioned surroundings and I'm dressed in shorts and a sleeveless t-shirt, outside in 98 degree, humid Sun and I've got jeans on with a shirt. Of course there was a reason ... TK and Sharon had just taken us for a nice lunch on top of the tower in the city which had a dress code ... no shorts for men. It was hot, but it was great shooting in KUL. Thanks to TK for all the hospitality and really making us feel as if we were home.
