    D.C. trip Summary (pix)

    Greetings,
Got back from DC,VA,MD this evening (Family Stuff) Heres a quick summary of the highlights from ADW and IAD. I didn't have much time to shoot so it was in and out when was at the airports.

IAD gave up a shot of a Saudi 737-700 HZ-MF1.
ADW was very generous this time around and shared shots of a US Navy 707 (E-6 Mercury)! CHECK OUT THOSE WINGTIPS!, Italian Air Force A319 MM62209(nc) and Thai 747-400 HS-TGZ (nc)
The weather the first 2 days was horrendous but the second 2 were just fantastic.

Something tells me that the 707 was taking pictures of you while you were taking of it....

    To say the least :)
They knew I was there before I did HAH!

I have just been told that the 707 is a E-6 Mercury. United States Navy! I didn't know the Navy had a 707(s) The wing is blocking the (NAVY) titles

the last 707 airframe off the Boeing line was a Navy,E-6
The beehive hummm of the JT9D and GE CF680C2,the thunder of the JT8D-17,the rumble of the PW1830 and the high ,thin whine of the PW 545A are all music to my ears!

THat is such a cool 737. I dont care what anyone says but green works on many aircraft.
And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.

Personally I don't like any of them :)
I wish that USN had a nice classic USN livery on it.
