SXM, just wanted to share.

I was going through my images take at SXM. As I had mentioned, I didnt want to go out there and sit on the beach and take more KLM over hte beach photos. I really wanted to experince the air of just being there.

the hot sand, the beach, the jetblast, [which many have said is better than skydiving.]

But I was thrilled to get a few different shots. This one is by far one of my favorites, the AF leaving in the dead of night. And I was happy to hear a few days later, that a passenger on the plane saw the photo and was on it.

And I was happy to shoot from a few different stages, both of which I have to thank Ron Peel for....the cafe but also, just from the inside of a moving van in Phillipsburg.. I'll get to uploading that later.


Sorry I just had to share some sunny thoughts on such a blah day!

Mario, I think the contaminated runway doesn't have much to do with maximizing performance, but more with the length to stop the plane in case of an aborted t/o.
