I think I found them. Pretty wild, I mean its a relatively quiet night and looking at passur, it would appear they were in a holding pattern circling above in Melville.
in retrospect, Brian, when you called I also saw one above Melville around that time.
Of course, too bad we cant get them hanging in low and slow here in the middle of the day. figures! LOL

was wondering, that southern Air, does it always do a trip from EWR-JFK in the middle of the night?
THe route is seemed to take was EWR, south over Staten island, then northeast to hook a loop above us in Melville then West to land on the 4's.
