    Show Dog Escapes At JFK

Dog show pooch on the run at JFK
    By Stacey Sager
(Queens-WABC, February 15, 2006) - The search is on for a dog featured in the Westminster Dog Show.

Somehow a Whippet managed to get loose at Kennedy Airport.
Here is what we can tell you: it has been about five hours now and Port Authority Police at Kennedy Airport tell us they have been doing just about everything to try to find this dog.

It wasn't just any ordinary dog. Police confirm it was show dog. They say it was a whippet that just performed at Madison Square Garden.

We are also told this dog may be worth as much as $150,000. Now, with that being said, you can imagine Port Authority Police have been doing an extensive search. They committed eight units since noon today.

The dog and its owners were getting on a Delta flight around noon today at terminal three. Somehow, after this dog was checked in, the dog escaped. We were told the dog was spotted in the marsh area outside of the airport, but then ran off.

The dog answers to the name Vivy and is wearing a white sweater.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9

If I find that "bitch" I'm selling it and getting a Cessna or a couple of Int'l flights out, or a G5 out of Republic to LAX or Heathrow and live life like a petty thief!

They figured out what happened to the dog!!!

I'm trying to find a link, but it appears it snuck into the cargo hold of an Air China 747 and is now being displayed as a bowl of Beef and Broccoli.
