What an impressive aircraft the 737 has turned out to be, sometimes, it is just incredible how many different versions of the 737 that have been built

    Commercial
    737-100 to the 737-900ER
    P8 (P3 replacement)
    BBJ (Boeing Business Jet)
    C40A, C40B, C40C.
I think the 737 is also the Australia AWACS bird.

wow... thats friggin amazing. wonder how many other types are built in those numbers.
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

Well Matt - not too many...

The Douglas DC-3, if you want to count classic props... was built to the tune of over 10 thousand including all variants.

After that, I think you'd probably have to get into GA and choppers...which is something else. 42 thousand Cessna 172s for example.. 7 thousand Bell Jet Rangers.. etc.. But even there, not too many types surpassing total 737 numbers.

    Hi Mike,
The Aussie version of the 737 is called the Wedgetail.
You probably also are aware that two BBJs are operated by the RAAF.

    Tim.

PS - Don't forget the 3 versions of the BBJ! 8)
