    Polet Cargo into PHL 10/30/05

Tomorrow morning, Polet flight 1192 is scheduled to arrive at PHL at 7:32 am. Hope its An-124, since they have recently acquired a 767.

Not to be rude or anything but what does an aircraft flying into PHL have to do with New York?

Since PHL is only a 2 hr drive it's great to get reports of interesting items inbound/outbound there. If it very interesting like the new US A320 I'd certainly consider driving down to PHL again for a "quicky". I'm just not that crazy about the russian stuff.

    Steve,
I noticed you are right between NYC and PHL. Looks like you got the best of both worlds!

Here she is... from her arrival (7:32 am) to taxi to the old Overseas Terminal and departure at around 12:30 pm. I woke up a little late, but compensated somehow by getting to PHL a lot faster than usual... and arriving as she was turning onto final approach. I got real lucky with my arrival (takes me an hour and a half to get from Rutgers to PHL and an hour and change from Rutgers to JFK/LGA) and even more luckier that I was in the right spot for her departure.

    Frikkin cool.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9
