I got the heads up today that Air Canada Jazz now operates the CRJ-900 to LGA from Toronto.
The flight comes in twice a day on Sundays.

Are you sure its the -900 and not the -700?
I checked aircanada.com and they have it as a CR7.

It's the -700 with a -900 body.
The AC site says CRJ7, while flytecomm says CRJ-900.

The technical term is CRJ-705, as said before 900 body/cabin but designated a 700 to satisfy pilot scope clauses about not operating the CRJ-900. The aircraft was launched for/by US who ended up switching to the 701 anyway, I believe Jazz is tbe only operator of the 705 series.
BTW on Sundays expect two separate aircraft, today the first one had the green trim, the second one the orange trim !

Started today and was not showing in Sabre a few weeks ago, they seem to make a lot of last min aircraft type changes !

Today, Sunday Sept 18th the second of two Jazz CRJ-705's was the new Star Alliance Bird, did not get any good shots today, sorry.
