Atlas has 3 more returning since BA terminated their contract early,I believe between Atlas and POLAR we are talking 14,-8 airframes, God bless them, the ultimate 747.
Are the Panalpina birds flown by Atlas?
Yes, they are. As is the Etihad Crystal Cargo 748
i saw that Atlas 747-8 on FR24 today, i had no chance to be able to come out because i had to see my dad. Im glad some of you cought it!!
Yea the Atlas B748s have been in several times. I would like to get ETD or the Panalpina B748.
727C47,
You are saying British World Cargo is getting with of the B748s? Wow so soon.
Senga
Fred, glad someone got those two gorgeous B727s... NICE!!
Glad to see you were also able to get those sweet shots of the 727's. They are sure pretty.
BWC has decided to fill the bellies of its pax liners with freight instead of its shiny, like new,-8's.
Wow , well I'm glad I got it the few times they showed up at JFK then. I guess that means white bodied blue tailed GTIs flying around just like the 200s/ 400s siiigh.
Exciting times! Can't get enough of the white and blue!

Great catches everyone! Fred- the 72's are fantastic.
Atlas owns 9 747-8F's, 2 are operated for Panalpina and are mostly seen at HSV and IAH in the States. 2 operated by Polar for DHL and 1 for Ethiad and of course this one pictured here , it's seen almost weekly at JFK. In addition, The 3 BA aircraft will be back very soon so get your pics soon.
Gets shots! I really like that EVA 747 shot and the 748s look beautiful.
Great shots all …. here are a few of mine from the morning and early afternoon outing.
