LOL I know Mark I want to see Fred more than the spotting but it's a disaster here. I am so burnt from spotting too. I literally shot 5 days sunrise to sundown from PHX-TUS-DAL-DFW. I need a rest! Enjoy all!

Other specials noted today were G-CIVZ (BA OneWorld 744), JetBlue Jets, JetBlue 10th Anniversary, and Pink Delta. There was also a Qatar 340 over by the GA area. Anyone know which one that was?

Yes, the second one (N249JB) was my ride! Thanks, Fred! I had a car service taking me into Manhattan, and he was parked on the top level of the T5 deck. I thought about asking him to make a lap around to see if anyone was out spotting...

First off I have to say that I could not have asked for a better weekend to take my mind off of things. For those of you that didn't know, I totaled my truck on Friday morning during the snow storm, and was not in the best of moods afterwards. Spending the weekend down at JFK with some of the best friends anyone could ever ask for watching giant floating pieces of metal was definitely what I needed to turn things around.

As always thanks for all the hospitality guys! You all rock! And special huge thanks to Kaz and Fred.

You guys are the gods of the spotting world this week. Great stuff! Love it all.
Makes me wanna rethink the standing offer I have from a friend
for JFK ramp access. Screw that- I'm gonna see if he'll taking me out to the active. BTW,
were you shooting from a vehicle or outside? :tongue:

The only way I think one can get ramp access is to get a jet ski and run out of gas near the field and walk across the ramp! Hmmmm.....I wonder whatever happened to that guy.

Probably has a great view of the field right now. Oh, I mean of LGA, and from Rikers Island.

It looks like he plead guilty to a violation of trespassing (a far cry from the felony the PA originally charged him with) and was given a conditional discharge.

Hey Mark, I was at the mounds for those last two heavies- Finnair and AF A380 Super. I think I saw you there. Should
have come over and introduced myself. It was a challenging afternoon for spotting since the tower was switching back and forth between
22L and 13L. When I got to 22L they switched back to 13. Sometimes you just can't win.

Nice photos. The RAM in that banking turn is great. Maybe I'll see you out there some time.
