Nice pictures. I wasn't a big fan of the 787, but seeing it flying really makes it grown on you. :)
Nice shots, 748 was there today?
748 has been here for weeks - BOE501. But it has hardly flown at all.
Great shots!
Is the VC-25 still there? I read on another site that one of them had arrived for maintainence last week.
VC-25 is at PAE
I know it has been said many time but that 787 wing flex is just amazing !
LGA777
LOL I was just about to say the samething! Really is amazing...out of all the planes ever made by man this one looks the closest to a bird in flight.Quote:

Thanks guys!
Three more from tonight:
The EVA 300ER scheme continues to hand me defeat after defeat after defeat: Tonight I was planning on heading down to catch this guy (not knowing whether it was the special or not) before jogging over to BFI to get the Omni 752 below. But on my way down I got a text saying the Omni had beacons on and was appearing ready to go about 60 minutes early. SO I changed my plans and went straight to BFI where, 5 minutes after arriving I spot the EVA 777 coming up the downwind for SeaTac. I zoom in on her, preparing to be relieved that I missed nothing great and lo' and behold there she is - the special. I get back in the car and gun it to SeaTac making a handful of minor traffic violations but getting stuck at every light. Despite a heroic show by my 96 Olds we race under the famous 188th st tunnel only to see her go over just as I enter the tunnel (I have no radio and from where I was coming the view of the approach is not good). So I got stuck with this (this is now the 5th time I've missed it this year):

Sorry to hear you missed it again. When I saw it taxing on the ramp I was wondering if you finally got her or not.
As always, these are dull, boring, and amateur at best.
By that I mean these are absolutely stunning, as always. The clarity is unreal and in great conditions. That last 767 shot is tiiiiiiiiight.
Mas por favor?
Great pics jerslice! I wonder how many times it'll take you to catch that bird... :)
The detail on that patched up ABX is amazing. Great work Jeremy.
Like John said, the detail on those photos is very good. What lens are you using?
It's called spotters luck. It happens to everyone, but I feel your pain and especially after the hard work and probably running a few red lights, congrats on the effort! I'm not one to sit around and wait for planes to come to me, I go get the planes.
on the positive side, you finally got it lolol
Just a few? :twisted:Quote:
and probably running a few red lights
Seriously though this thing is awful. It came in again today while I was at BFI and I missed it again. This time though it helped me bag a 722...so I'm not exactly complaining :-)
It's all about priorities brah! The single special scheme EVA 777 > Generic unmarked 727 anyday and everyday! (at least in my book).
N30MP is actually a short body 727-100 type. A cool classic machine to see around, but still only a private bizjet. Would not run any red lights for it... but would surely do so for the special EVA :D
There are actually 3 or 4 eva's painted in that scheme.
Question for the seattle spotters, Im heading out to seattle and plan to take in the Boing Tour. Which airport can you see the most action. Everett or Paine field.
In that same scheme?? Good! If I go to LAX or something have a much better chance of running into it. Even if there were 20 of those, I'd shoot one of them before I even notice a bizjet 727. Those can be seen anywhere.Quote:

The advantage to BFI is Renton is close so you can run there get the almost daily outbound B-1 flight and then get her landing a few hours later at BFI. But BFI by far has more action and KSEA is right there if it is a little boring for you.Quote:
