I was watching your boys doing touch & go's at Gabreski a few weeks ago. Both the Pavehawks & 130's were in working that day.

Woo I love that time of year. Last year the weather didnt cooperate and we had to leave after 2+ hrs of waiting for the fog to clear. Man I cant wait.

That fog kept us from flying the shoreline on our way in. Plus we had to circle for about 30 minutes prior to landing. Looking forward to better weather this year!

Don't you guys fly into much worse weather than that on purpose?
Anyway, I usually work hard to keep http://www.longislandaviation.info up to date with blog-style posts on air show updates. I started doing that because nobody else was - for the first few airshows, information was scattered all over the 'net, so I just gathered it all in one convenient location. However, things have changed since then, and the official website, this forum, and Air Show Buzz are now excellent sources of information. As long as the first post in this thread stays up to date, I'm thinking I might as well just post a link straight to here. The effort I put in seems redundant, and I may not even have the time to keep up with everything (you know, the whole finding-a-job-after-graduation thing ain't easy these days).
What are your thoughts - will keeping my website active be a help or hinderance to the general populace? Please respond in a PM, I'd rather not hijack this thread.

Much less because of an airshow. We did however fly a few impromptu demo's to keep the crowd interested while the weather cleared.

from what i heard from the golden knights after it was all over, sean tucker did the same when he made like a helicopter and cleared a LZ for the knights to jump into.

Re: Jones Beach Airshow 2010
Sean Tucker is a riot and his daughters, or at least what I beleive to be his daughters were total smoke shows. Pizza and wine on Sean's dime last year. Right before the tag of "Viper East" was branded. LOL Unfortuneately, it appaears I will not be present for this event as there is a strong chance I will be moving back to SRQ 3/4 time.

At first I panicked. I thought Memorial Day was the weekend before! Phew. Anyway, lets hope they can bring another awesome Demo team along. I would loved to see the B-1 of F-22 again.
As a huge Grumman fan, having an E-2 would be amazing as well.

Re: Jones Beach Airshow 2010
Since the Blues will be there, I wouldn't count on a Super Hornet demo. Hope ACC provides two demos, but I don't think that'll happen... wouldn't mind seeing Zeke...
Oh and Ryan... I'm sure you're thinking of Sean's wife. His daughter was not at Jones Beach (she used to travel to a lot of shows but because of school she only does west coast shows). Great guy, though!

You guys did a great job (As always) last year. You must have hovered infront of the announcer stand for close to an hour on Sunday. You guys get the credit for blowing the fog out so the Windmiller could tear it up! :D

I thought I was the only one who thought this way! I said something like "guess what is in 4 months?" to my wife, and when I told her "the air show" she shook her head and said I had issues.
Its a shame that this is the only air show in the area without having to drive 8 hours.

If you really want to talk about issues.... I usually only go home for a showers between Thursday and Sunday... by Sunday morning I am usually screaming at birds on an empty tarmac!! It is quite pathetic!
the problem is that it gets too late to go home and you shot everything over and over and over and over and over...so you start trying crap that you know will not work like this http://www.longislandwallpapers.com/...09_RDR3k-L.jpg
Then the first people start showing up and you are tired as hell.

Horsemen won't be there but I wouldn't be surprised to see either Ed, Jimmy, or both floating around.
2 years ago, Ed flew the HF and with FRG a short 45 minute flight from Chester County Airport, we may get lucky enough to see the Spitfire this year.
