Is there anyone going spotting at JFK friday, that wouldn't mind showing 2 out-of-towners the best spotting locations? It would be me and my homeboy Mario, and we could help with gas money.

We actually just might be out there, but right now the forecast is calling for rain.
Although I may have a full car.
Weather is looking better, and I plan to be out with Phil, will probably have room for a couple of pax.
Thanks for the reply Phil...hopefully the rain stays away as we are only there a few days:)Quote:

It was great meeting you this morning, Wendy and Mario... Good times, will probably see you again tomorrow.
Here are the very few barely salvageable shots I grabbed today. New non-IS lens + 20mph wind + first spotting outing in a very long time = not great results.

Quite a crew out today - good to see some old friends, as well as to meet some new ones! The wind at Bayswater this morning was rough, but by afternoon, at the Mounds, it was just about perfect. Here are a few shots...

I added four (!) new tails in my quest to shoot all of jetBlue (although they keep adding new airplanes!)

Matt, what are you talking baout? Those hosts are great. Apparently you have a steady hand, because evenw ith IS, my shots blew.
Moose, sorry I couldn't stay out longer.
Was GREAT meeting our new friends today. Eager to head out the door in a few to do it again.
Nice shots guys. Matt, that's pretty damn good for someone who hasn't been out in a hot minute.
Hopefully I shall see y'all soon!
Nice stuff.
The bird shot is new! Good capture of the EK just closing it's gear doors.
Nice lighting on the UPS Airbus, the brown with the sunlight is great.
lol @ Jet Blue adding more planes.
How many CX movements a day?
Great shots, so far guys! Hope to get out and shoot with you before too long...
Moose- Sounds like you're on the same kick as I am, only I'm trying to nail down the entire Southwest fleet... 105 out of 550 so far!Quote:

LAS? Might be fun to visit, but to live? I'd get into WAY too much trouble in that town!
It's a long term thing that I work on as often as possible, when my travels take me to
an airport where SWA operates... I've got another run to Philly on tap for next month,
as well as a long layover at MDW to help bulk up the collection.
