It should be CS-TMP which is owned by Luzair.
Brian, a big shout out to you for the heads up
Wow. GET THIS GUYS.
If that's the case, could someone bring NikV a new pair of undies?
The time is prettymuch a crapshoot; FlyteComm is calling 6:20, and neither site shows that it has departed.
Looks like it departed 6 hours late according to Zoom's website. ETA 2140 local. :(
Yeah, trackers are saying the same. That blows.
Any idea when this baby might return?

Senga, please decipher that for us noobs.
What a shot to be had at T4 right now. The L-1011 is sitting at hardstand 61, and the A380 is sitting at HS63, with nothing at the stand in between.
Phil, you must take the shot.
If I brought my camera today, I would.
Mario,
Its just showing the Flight number, registration and route information.
I hope it comes back

I just have to say, that you gentleman rock, I have just been lurking lately, my day job has been keeping me hopping, all over the hemisphere, but when i need a good JFK fix,and boot up this web page, you all never dissapoint,an L1011? I thought I saw my last one last fall,ATA out of DFW, I hope someone captures this one !
According to ACARS CS-TMP flew from Luxor, Egypt to LGW on Tuesday under a Zoom call sign. Chances are ACARS could be screwing up and showing the positioning flight the day before but just in case I suggest keeping an eye on the Zoom flight for Friday.
Its now flying for another operator (VUN) Air Ivoire.
Unfortunately its no longer flying for Zoom at this time. We got screwed.

Zoom UK B763 G-UKZM (27686) returned to Gatwick as UKZ99F this afternoon following repair after being damaged in a hangar at Amsterdam during a 24-hour check last week. L-1011 CS-TMP (1248), which had been covering for the B763, left Gatwick soon after as VUN9569 (an Air Ivoire callsign).
There's no doubt that. Its an incredible streak of bad luck for Tri-Star spotters in terms of JFK.Quote:

Tom
I didn't realize it was that bad until I saw all my disappointments put together in one lump. Oh MAN
The most frustrating about about this L1011 opportunity was the fact that it has been with them for several days and apparently just after we got the last 767 into JFK last week. We should be getting the 767 again tommorrow.

That TriStar left JFK late last night at 11:30pm Callsign EIN108.
Slightly o/t there was also a DC-10 Operating for Aer Lingus as well on 8/9. It positioned from ATL , presumably Omni?
Last nights was a different airline than the Zoom substitute. It was the MMZ Tristar.
Also take note that the Zoom 763 is back on line after getting its tail fixed. Now it has a totally white rudder. Hopfully when they paint it will be taken out of service long enough to see the Luzair here again.

One of my bosses says he witnessed the Tristar on approach from his home in Western Nassau County using the callsign Shamrock 109 Heavy with a very "Non" Irish accent.
Cheers

EIN109 operated on the 10th as a L-1011, and on the 11th as a DC-10
