Man...I can't believe I voted for this guy...
Do you think he made the girls refer to him only as "Steamroller?"
http://i32.tinypic.com/dv3h3.jpg
Do you think he insisted on keeping his trouser socks on? Nothing horns me up like those ankle garters. LOL
He's gone....Talk about someone who climbed the ladder only to get knocked off. I can't beleive I voted for this guy to...
Meet David Paterson, your first black governor:Quote:
New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer has been indicted and is expected to resign from office following news reports that he was linked to a high-profile prostitution ring, sources told FOX News Monday.

Don't forget he's blind to...which in a wrong sort of way pefectly describes our gov't.Quote:

I'm shocked, and frighteningly, almost excited. This is the first man who I ever regretted voting for, and now he will be out the door. I do feel for his family, however.
Anybody who works in the insurance industry is very happy to see this
Boy oh boy we have McGreevey scandal part 2...
Poor kids...
I'm not sure what is worse....McGreevey was gay big deal but he also cheated on his family. I think this is worse. Spitzer broke the law where McGreevey didn't. Wouldn't surprise me if he was in a crime family's back pocket somehow. You know this ring wasn't run by some two bit pimp. Its def not Russian mafia, otherwise any and all witnesses would be dead already.Quote:

2nd person on the Clinton campaign that been linked to marriage infidelity
Mayor Villaraigosa (Mayor of Los Angeles) cheated on his wife with a news reporter & gave her special interviews & clearances & now the Governor of New York cheated on his wife with prostitutes.
These were two key people that were on her campaign, wonder if Clinton will ask Spitzer to resign!
Actually the third person when you include her husband. :)
is it me or does he look zoned out in that picture?Quote:

McGreevey did appoint his boyfriend to the State's Homeland Security office though. If he had not resigned I think there would have been more investigations into possible law breaking.
Anyway, its all a freakshow.
Do you remember our Chief Justice of the New York State Supreme Court? He went and got a fake mustache and cowboy suit and made up a new name to harass his ex-girlfriend. Guy was lauded by both Democrats and Republicans and he was clearly a madman.
Look for a horse to be appointed to the Senate in the next few years.

Well, I see Gov. Spitzer is a little bit of a freak! If the dude really cared about his family, he should have resigned to prevent more information being leaked to the press, have a feeling it is going to get worse....
Quote:
An FBI affidavit describes a wiretapped conversation in which Client 9 told a call-ring booking agent that he had sent a deposit for the tryst by mail, with no return address, "same as in the past, no question about it." A delivery delay almost derailed his Feb. 13 date with Kristen. The money finally arrived, however, and the transaction continued.
One of the club's booking agents told Kristen that she had heard that the client "would ask you to do things that, like, you might not think were safe," according to the affidavit.
Kristen replied: "I have a way of dealing with that. . . . I'd be like, 'Listen, dude, you really want the sex?' "
Quote:
The FBI intercepted calls and text messages in which Client 9 promised to leave his hotel door open so Kristen could enter without having to ask the front desk for a key. He assured the booking agent that he would pay her cab fare and hotel minibar charges and asked for a reminder about Kristen's looks. The agent told him she was American and "very pretty," at 5 feet, 5 inches and 105 pounds.
The affidavit said that Kristen spent about two hours with Client 9. She collected the remainder of her fee, about $2,700, from him. He also paid an additional $1,600 as a deposit for future services from the Emperors Club.

Things I need to see:
-- A photo of "Kristen"
-- $4300 for a couple hours was lower end at this place...what does the $5500 per hour girl look like?
-- The look on the Steamroller's face when he found out he was caught.

Secondly and most importantly, David Paterson. It seems to me he was born with congenital optic atrophy with partial use of his right eye. The "zoned out" look one alluded to is what we call a slight ptosis of the eyebrow along with what appears to be a pupillary anomaly, most likely due to limited use of the left eye.
While the media is almost negatively stating, AD NAUSEUM, that he is legally blind and handicapped, let me say this:
He toiled through Columbia and then Hofstra Law School, then politics. That is no small feat for someone with PERFECT eyesight, let alone someone with a visual handicap.
What bothers me are those whose thoughts are so handicapped to think they are stuck with a blind governor.
I wish the man well. He should serve as an example to the many visually handicapped patients that I see regularly.
Spitzer..the only ending fitting is the some jailtime. For someone who played the card of the morally right, the only honorable thing for him to do would be to abide by the justice system which he upheld and follow its codes by the letter and spirit of the law.

As rotten as Boss Tweed was, he made positive contributions to the city. I can't think of anything positive resulting from Spitzer's time in office. Even his high profile cases as AG against Wall St and the insurance companies were frauds...they paid hundreds of millions in fines, but none of that money ever made its way back to the citizens who were ripped off...the state kept it.
As for Paterson, of course "legally blind" does not mean Ray Charles blind. I know a couple of legally blind people who get along fine, one of them still drives. I don't know much about him, but it would be difficult for him to do a worse job than the man he'll likely replace.
And as for Spitzer doing time, he might not even be prosecuted unless the Feds find something else while rooting through his bank records. It's my understanding that they pretty much never prosecute johns in prostitution cases.

Spitzer has a 12 inch wallet, I bet the ladies are flocking to be with him :mrgreen:Quote:

If Gov. Eliot Spitzer opts to roll the dice and not resign, state Republican leadership will force him to go all-in and call for his impeachment from office, according to a state Assemblyman, who admitted he asked the governor to step down.

Egadz! I wouldn't touch her with a stolen (whew)! As the old Irish saying goes "the Devil you know is better than the Devil you don't." Guess what folks David Patterson will now be the Governor! He is the guy who says that people should be allowed to put their hands on cops and fight them if an Officer attempts to make an arrest. He was also a Sharpton groupie who was arrested at 1 PP for "civil disobedience" (which is still disobedience) after the Diallo shooting. I also shook my head in wonder when Spitzer chose him as a running mate and when the news first broke. I wonder what the state of New York is going to be like with David Patterson has governer. The police will be powerless to stop crime and corruption will run wild in government. Screw it, if the voters want a libeial government, this is about as liberal as it gets. Expect much higher taxes, limited government service and falling real estate prices.Quote:
