I'd have to go with the 320. Mostly because I think all the other planes there are gorgeous.
Shorts Skyvan anyone?!?
[airliners11930[/airliners
I only had 10 option for the poll and decided to put the significant ones.
Only two received votes so far...A380 and A320.

Since when did Rosie O'Donnel get a cetrificate to fly?
I'm going to have to vote for the A380. Certainly isn't eye candy but it is still amazing!

I asked the same thing.
Yeah, the A380 is like BIG and UGLY! Hmm, it seems my entire post was about Rosie O'Donnel.
Yeah, I also voted for the flying Rosie (A380)
I say the A321 but for this list the A380
interesting, most are picking the 'busses.
Well, there are only 3 Boeing choices.Quote:

Where is the 727, 737, 757(which has a VERRY unique nose)?
I couldn't fit them all, but I didn't think anyone could actualyl considering any of them to be unattractive. You do?Quote:

My pick would have been the stubby A318, but my pick from the list is the A300.
Stuart if you dare say the 727 is ugly you will be banned for life from all aviation sites on the web! The 727 is simply breathtaking! The lines in her wings when her flaps are extended! OMG super sexy!Quote:

I'd have picked the 757. It's too long!Quote:

Not a big fan.Quote:

Damn. I shoulda put the mad dog on there actually. My bad, guys.
Good thing you didn't. kc2aqg would be pooping a brick! LMAOQuote:

As far as ugliest plane goes, my vote has to go for the whalejet. Though I agree, it is an unbelievable feat of engineering...
*sigh* I suppose I'm probably one of the freaky few who thinks that the A380 is beautiful...
I don't think it's an eyesore, but for me it's defiinitely worst on the list. My REAL vote would have gone to the A318. It's too damn stubby.Quote:

OHH NO! I never EVER would say that the 722 is an ugly plane. She is definately a beauty, but I was just throwing out Boeing names.
Phil, you need more aircraft on that list. With 6 Airbusses and 3 Boeings, seems a bit off-balanced from the start.
Yeah, even though Airbus is obviously the ugliest, I did have to put at least a couple Boeings to make it fair. ;)
What other Boeings should I have put? You folks really think the 727, 737, 757 can even be considered ugly?
Bleh. :lol:Quote:

To me the 747-400 is beautiful but you have to admit the 747SP is a bit freaky, but I don't see 747SP on there.

Dima
Wow. Dima, I'm honestly surprised that anyone would dislike the 757.
Though I knew it would rank, I'm shocked that the A380 seems to be the winner, or loser rather, as the ugliest plane.
Hey Dima - You sure we're talking about the same 757? Hairdryers? The 752 has one of the best power-to-weight ratios for both PW & RR engines, but especially with the RB211-535E4. I've never had a takeoff in a 757 (-200 or -300) where I wasn't pushed into the seat by the G-force...
Now when you talk about hairdryers, the A343 comes to mind. It could take one of the top 5 ugly plane titles, but I think the A346 is an improvement.
common, who voted for the A330? That is a work of art!
Also, why is 742 on the list, that is a great classic airliner. I would vote for a 737 (all except of -100 or -200) Then, maybe the 767, which got my vote.
of the choices listed i voted for the 767-300, to me its a plain plane
but personaly the yak 42 and bac 1-11 are the ugliest to me
Yea, like I said, I like flying on those, but hate looking at them :roll:Quote:

I agree with Tommy. For this list its the A320. While the A319 is balanced, almost a modern day jet version of the old civil convair props in relative size of their contemporaries, the A320 is just an ugly duckling with that extra bit of fuselage length.
As for Boeing, the 767 is certainly boring in most color schemes.
Tom
The A380 is really ugly, but the 747 is trailing close
