According to insider source of information, testing is still being done on the A320 with winglets.... The latest information looks like they are getting 3%-5% with the winglets...
We have taken delivery of the A/c. It will be AC 636. It is undergoing testing at airbus with one set of winglets ,then will then switch onto another pair of winglets and re-test. We dont expect the AC till late in the year.
Did B6 itself decide if they are going to go with the 727 look alike winglets or the ones Airbus mande that look like a clipped toenail
That's what they are testing out now, still.Quote:

Not bad looking, hope they work out and put some paint on them.
Would be cool if they were done the same like the tail...but thats not going to happen.
Now that would be AWESOME...matching the winglets to the tails! ooooohQuote:

When it arrives in our fleet the reg is N636JB. which wont be for another couple of months. I imagine they didnt paint them because they are testing them. Why paint something if its only a test. I can guess that when they arrive here in the USA they will be painted somehow.
Woohoo! I'm all about the matching winglets.

OK, that's the 2nd time you've linked that photo...and then linked the identical one. I keep expecting to see a new one!
No that's the right one! My bad I met these: http://www.airliners.net/open.file/1099160/L/
To restate, I like them the most. The ones that Mellyrose repainted look a bit A330-ish.
