Popping in for the first time in a while. I haven't really been uploading to either site because of the frustrating queue times and because I think some of the best aviation photography I've seen actually exists on Flickr. What's funny is that I was uploading more to Planespotters.net which had shorter queue times, a fresh group of screener and I loved how it connected to FlightRadar24. I don't know what's going on with Planespotters recently, but I've had a slew of rejections on that site lately when I've seen other photos accepted that were sub-par (I once appealed a rejection for noise citing a MUCH noisier recent addition only to have it rejected for over sharpening). Favoritism? Plus, the queue times are longer than JetPhotos now. It's not fun.
Rant aside, this one might be one of my all-time favorite captures. I almost deleted this one from the JP queue after it was rejected on PS.net but I decided not to. Turns out, it was accepted with my first-ever positive screener comment!

Hey Connor, I agree with you 100% and do not care to even bother with "the sites" anymore.
If I am happy with the photo, that's all that matters to me, and I have a decent enough view rate on Flickr & my Smugmug account that I don't need to deal with the delays and petty rejections anymore. It's very liberating.
On a related note, that a really sweet shot of that Virgin.
Nice catch of the Sands Gulfstream Jeremy!
