final check ride for my Bell 412 type rating! :borat:
Finally ironed out my plans for this upcoming week:
12/9:
ATL-FLL - DAL 1818
FLL-TLH - FRL 6078
TLH-MCO - FRL 6009
Unfortunately for me the FLL-MCO evening flight on Freedom Air is booked solid, hence the "connection" in TLH!
12/11:
MCO-ATL - DAL 0091
ATL-JAX - DAL 0830
Spending some time with friends in JAX.
12/12:
JAX-ATL - DAL 0785
I just completed the following trips including the spotting trip to FLL this past weekend:
11/28
JFK-FLL DL1681 752 ex-TWA
12/2
FLL-JFK DL82 MD88
12/7
JFK-CVG COM89 CRJ
CVG-RSW DL1773 MD88
12/9
FLL-JFK DL1710 MD88
Lots of great videos from the rear of the MD88, and some great JT8D sound if you ask me :D
So, I just got home. My flight from Tucson to Denver was my first time ever on a CRJ. I'm not sure what I expected, but I wasn't too impressed. I had a two hour layover in Denver - beautiful airport! I made use of their recently introduced WiFi network and did some spotting from the terminal...lots of interesting Christmas cargo stuff coming in and going out. The flight from Denver to Washington was among the most enjoyable flights I have been on. The crew, all from Chicago, really did an outstanding job. At one point, after boarding had been completed and the crew members were just finishing up stuff, one of the female crew members comes on the PA system and calmly announces that the liquor cart is on board. I assume that this message was intended to be received by the crew in the rear galley only, but that she forgot to deactivate the main PA system first. Nobody really knows what to make of this and there is an awkward silence at first. Then, almost harmonically, a few male passengers start cheering. At this point, the entire aircraft burst out in a fit of laughter, something I have never experienced before. The mood of the crew and passengers was upbeat and cheerful throughout the flight, and I walked off the plane with a big smile on my face. It's good to be home! :D

Just returned from LGA-MIA-CUR-MIA-LGA last week on AA (3 738's with winglets & a 757). Curacao was amazing, and definitely one of the more relaxed islands I have been to. Would definitely recommend it for a relaxing week in the sun & underwater for those of you who are divers!

My trip got kind of changed. Instead doing YVR-PHX-CLT-DCA I'm doing YVR-PHX-PHL-DCA.
US A321 got damaged while we were waiting at the gate (gate agent hit the door whit the jetway and they couldn't close the aircraft).
So now I'm waiting for my flight to PHL on HP A319.
Rafal
I had posted an earlier group of flights for my Chile trip in March but some dates were moved around so a change in flights had to be made. We are now flying back via MIA and connecting onto American to JFK. I actually did the same thing last year when I came back from St. Lucia.

Ended up being about the same price as EasyJet, but I get to fly BA for the first time, earn AA miles, get a reserved seat, and I get to see BA's brand new LHR terminal.
