AAL 757W is here, just gleaming in the late day sun.
N31TR just departed for SWF. saw it rotating as i bit into my samich. really wish i was on that leg...
Friday 9-7, Sky King 737-232 N332DL departed around 1000 on a Gambling Charter to MEM, arrived the night before from MSY. I have spotted this classic 737 several times in the last few months in an all white scheme, today some of the red paint from the DL wavey gravey tail is starting to show up on the left side, really tacky. Everytime it's here uses the callsign Songbird 332.
On a side note no weekend runway closeures are planned for the weekend of Sept 8-9.
Cheers

I wish I knew it was the Zero G aircraft, I would have gone down to SWF to see her arrival!
Gordon, we really don't get Freighters at LGA and all of Amerijets 727's are Freighters except the Zero G one so for next time and I am sure there will be if you Amerijet to LGA on the flighttrackers then come on down.

Yep, that would be her. There was also a funky looking Citation 10 with a solid bright red tail and matching cheatline at LGA yesterday. Target has a few of those painted like that or similiar so my guess is some big wigs from Target were in town. I did not have time to check out the screen when she popped up on radar though to verify.
This is a little late but Tuesday 9-11 had bad weather, we even closed our ramp for about an hour due to a mid day Thunderstorm. But Murphy's law, probably the best day for Special Schemes in a while.
Air Canada A-320 Symphony in Voices 65th Anniv
US Carolina Panthers A-319 first LGA visit.
US PHL Eagles A-319
All 3 US East Heritage Schemes (PI, PSA. Allegheny)
Air Canada Trans Canada A-319

What time did the pink Delta, US steeers and the AC 321 came in? i most have missed those planes as i was at Pehlam Bay Park between 1:30pm to 5pm with some kids. I was watcing the landings while at the park.
Delta 767-300 inbound to LGA right now. The F/O is one of the coolest guys, not to mention Delta youngest pilot!

As I speak trolling off of 31 at Papa is one of AA's last former TWA 757's stil in serivce. I did not grab the tail number on her. She was followed by a more common but still attractive Mustang Sally Frontier 319.
Star Alliance (US Airways) A320
319 actually and she was running the shuttle. Not soo much special anymore, it runs the Shuttle pretty consistantly.
This must be the last Ex TWA 757 i snapped on Friday 9-07-07 right here belowQuote:

well this morning as i was walking to class i noticed three UH-60s circling above the 5 towers area of LGA. since my professor didn't show i took a quick trip to the tower and sure enough, there they sat all lined up on the helo pad. anyone know who they belong to and where they're going. they're definately ARMY.

Get her while you can, its suject to change at any time. In the summer schedule there was a Tway 757 and one day the flight came in as a 738. Unless the message was missed the first time we saw it was a 738 was when we verified the ship number once it took off...
two more blckhawks have arrived at LGA, landing near the helo pad with thier 3 sister ships. now i'm really jealous, stuck sitting here in a training class while those guys are out there having a ton more fun than me... :(
There was a 3 ship pass over Giants stadium yesterday before the game as well.Quote:

They've made 2 trips to EWR this week as well... last time I saw them was over a year ago, any idea why they have them on these routes lately?Quote:

Ford's Fokker F70 is here at LGA and moments ago the Miami Heat 737-400 touched down on 31.
got a pretty good shot of both, be on the look out!
In addition we had a DL 763-ER, numerous US Special Schemes including the Steelers twice, and the only known UN related visitor, a SAM 757 (no winglets this time) bringing in the First Lady.
