Awesome Fred!
Awesome shot of the CF-18 in front of the tower!
Awesome shots everyone! Hopin to meet some new faces today out at FRG!
Nice shots Kenny!
Hot Damn, those are some nice shots. Nobody flew over my house, I had no idea they were flying in that soup! I'm up North, in Greenlawn, but they usually fly over on the turn back for final.
Thanks guys. Moose the tower shot is nuts!
According to the jonesbeachairshow.com website the show in canceled for today. Newsday is reporting the same.
The American Airpower Museum is still open. Great bunch of folks and there will be plenty to see and do.
Anyone around the museum know if the PBY will be making any passes at the museum? Or is it just a static for the weekend? Thanks
I will be popping in and out of the museum today just to get a few static shots this morning.
Hey Moose & Fred, you guys going to be at the museum today? I'm planning to stop by in a little bit & would love to finally meet you guys in person! :D
Anybody we know?

FYI- I was talking to the Disney Promotion guys at their "Planes" booth at the Beach today and they said they were still hoping "Dusty", the AT-301, would arrive sometime later today from Texas weather permitting. They also said the reason why you haven't seen any pics of the real aircraft yet is because they just finished painting it last week.
Knights of the Templar out spotting!
It's Indiana Jones!
Fly2e, Is the Shot of the CF-18 over FRG from today?
No, it was from yesterday.
Some video of the CF-18 from yesterday's practice runs.

Nice video Fly2e. Thanks for sharing!
Great shots posted by all from FRG where all the action seems to have been for the most part (except for a few photos taken at JB on Friday practice). Has anyone posted a roll call of who plans on going to the beach for the Sunday show? I plan on being there. Probably show center partway down the beach if I get there early enough. I think there will be a good crowd despite the moderate temps (mid-60s). Ill be wearing my JFK Airtrain baseball cap-Grey.
Please post here if you are going or send me a tweet. Maybe I could meet some of you to say hi. I don't have any fancy equipment. Mostly go for the experience.

I'll be there at JB tomorrow, w/the wife. Look for the guy in the black F/A-18 Hornet shirt :)
Will probably be at the beach. Following me is not for the easily offended so please be forewarned. @caps_crazy1
I'll be at the beach as well. I normally prefer to go to the beach on Saturday and spend Sunday at the airport, however, the weather has made that impossible this year. Hopefully I'll be able to catch the CF-18's depart Sunday evening or Monday since their departure time in unknown - to me at least! I don't know what I'll be wearing, so don't expect to meet any new faces from here at the beach. I always try to be at show center even though it can be very crowded and tomorrow may be jammed pack, even without all of the thunder, so get there early for a good spot.
It will be interesting if they still attempt to have the Miss Geico catamaran vs. Geico Skytyper race tomorrow because with the high winds the seas should be pretty rough and Miss Geico may get some major "air" time !! Ha !!
Nice effect on the Red Bull plane Kenny.
Thanks Joe!
