Apparently it's very true, Mike. N77014 is supposed to go in for a D check in late December and will be repainted.Quote:

So I imagine the -200LR went to CDG?
Today, Virgin 18 departed 2:55PM (7 hours delay) with an A346 in new colours.
According to an F/A on V-Flyer the flight only had F/As on board as well. Strange...Quote:

Mike, the second time. I'm glad they went around because I had no idea they were bringing the new colors in. But I'm not thrilled with how they came out, pretty hazy out there today. Oh well.

And here's alot of brand new 777's: Jet Airways newest 777-300ER, EL AL's newest 777-200ER, and Air India's newest 777-200LR

Oh and JFK isn't the only one with the mounds now:

Bill
where was that photo taken at? the shot with continental on approach?
Nice shots Bill.
I really like the ELY, AIC and JAI 777 in teh same shot. I wish there was a COA 777 landing in the background.
Senga
Bill,
Where was that "mounds" shot taken?
Keep an eye out at EWR for VT-AIR (Air India 777-200) because it has been painted into the new livery.
This weekend there was N801DM and and UAL 763
I heard there is or was a German A310 at EWR today. Bill can you confirm?
El Al 777 4X-ECF at EWR today, just pulled over to hard stand by Terminal A. Shiny new and looks like modified titles.
AJ
I believe this aircraft has been assigned to EWR so it has become pretty common.Quote:

I know what your saying Ryan but EL AL mentioned that Newark was going to be their first destination to receive their new "flagship" 777-200 with their new interior, -ECF.Quote:

I like that Saudi A310 (former Brunei VIP aircraft), only a few pics of it on A.net over several years so congrats on catching it!
Mid East Jet 777. N777AS. Wish I had my camera as I believe this is the first time into EWR. There are only a handfull of pictures on A.net.
I'm not sure if it is rare, but UPS 747 OC was at EWR today.
There been a 747-100 and 747-200 almost daily on weekdays at EWR. At least one of them every day but both more often then not for the past 3-4 months.Quote:

Not true... like I said, UPS has had at least either a 100 or 200 and alot of days both at EWR for at least the past month or two.Quote:

2 JFK diversions today due to fog, Emirates and Lufthansa A340's both made emegency fuel landings. Emirates had less the 50 minutes of fuel and Lufthansa less then 20. Little too close for comfort.
Looks like its gonna be a bad night for JFK, add AAL 777 and a few Delta flights
Is EWR the only getting diversions Bill? Are others going elsewhere?
Hi Mark it looks like SWF had one Jetblue and United flight and Boston had Icelandair divert there.
