I saw VP-BKS parked next to the American hangar today, I imagine she must be parked at JFK for a bit?

Dreamlifter's here. Saw her passing over FRG for 22L.
Oh man!!!! I would love to add that to my collection!
I almost drove off the Northern State when it passed overhead. Coming at me head on, I thought it was an A-380, but then I saw the bulge.
I must say, today the "spotting gods" were smiling down on me, it seemed like all the 22 arrivals were sent further nort and west than usual. A Sikorsky s-92 Helibus even made an appearance.
I definitely picked the wrong day this week to go to JFK. I should have come down today instead of Tuesday.
Looks like I picked the wrong week to...

You mean this "little" guy?

Mark and I were like minding our own business, looking out in the horizon... when I said, what the heck is that? Mark says, "Dreamliner" I said, yeah, no, DreamLIFTER! ... lol
I am still drooling. Never thought I see her again at JFK, never mind in the air!
Parked for the night, may leave in the AM.
Ah...........how sweet it is!!!

cool,cool !!!
Great shots...dicks lol.
Departed 0622
I got up early to try and make it out in case it would leave in the morning. It didn't look like it would be ready THAT early.
Actually sunrise is when the sun first begins to break the horizon Eric so depending on what you are trying to shoot you need the sun to get a little higher, especially departures that usually takes more than 20 mins. Not to mention broken clouds where everywhere.
Nice. Glad y'all got the Dreamlifter catch.
We had it down here in MIA for the longest time too - work on the wings - never in a good spot to get a clear shot though....
Cary, I knew you would curse us... We just happen to be lucky, that's all... absolutely zero planning. Etihad F1 was the same for me... only rare special I did expect (thanks to Mark "Zee71") was Swiss San Fran, and that blew chunks since it was ppor weather and they totally screwed us on the landing config!
Showing that DreamLifter is on the ground at JFK ?? Confirmation anyone? IF so, it will depart around 4:30pm to KCHS!!

See ya'll at HoBe this afternoon (if the gods align, they'll be on 31LKK)
EDIT: Seems my source was delayed by 24hrs and the flight info was for yesterday 9/1. Apologies for any confusion...
Not sure what it was doing at JFK, but an Allegiant DC-9 was at T4 this morning.....A/C reg. N891GA.....it departed around 11:25am

A rare bird at JFK arrived around noon today (9/13) on RWY 22L. This was taken from North Woodmere park and cropped. I don't know where it parked or when it left.

Very cool catch!

According to FlightAware, it came in from Decatur, AL (Pryor Field Regional Airport) and left around 1:45pm. It belongs to McNeely Charter Service, out of West Memphis, AR. The outbound leg was scheduled back there, but per FA, it diverted to Akron-Canton, OH.
more freight in akron my guess
SkyKing B734 Flight # SGB 6402 on reg N916 SK arrived at 1225 on rwy 13R
I'm not sure if this really qualifies as a "notable" visitor, but Flightstats.com is showing the Asiana 777 arrival (flight 222) being operated by a 747 this Saturday (10/15).
Nope, not really notable ... 777 is often replaced with the 747.. here she was on Tuesday

Ok, thanks for the info Manny. THat was the first time I've ever seen the 747 shown for Asiana going to JFK. Hopefully it will be used again next saturday.
There is a Saudi A340 and 747SP by the triple hangers.
Steven and I saw the A340 come in, but not the 747SP (we missed it because we were in transit to HoBe, and might have missed this on flightaware). Here are the two birds.

Nice catch Mark... The A340 looks good on that c/s
Etihad Formula 1 is in NY or was in NY ;-) Too bad about the weather and all our attention was on N707JT
