Lufthansa now has 2 A340-300s, 1 A340-600, and 1 747-400 daily so I wouldn't say that's much of a rare happening. I'm assuming the FRA A340-300 was upgraded to a 747-400.Quote:

First I have heard of this. I thought LH410/411 to and from MUC was the only A340-600 upgrade we would see this summer. According to the scheds LH401 will remain a 747-400.Quote:

I saw a Song a/c with a Delta #2 engine at MCO last March. Mixed engines aren't that uncommon, especially when Delta has multiple paint schemes.Quote:

15/5, Delta new colors.
thunderstorm rolled in ,wind shear to almost 40 knots, plenty of go-arounds
I don't think 40 knots winds count as an aircraft visitor. :-p
Either do thunderstorms, wind shear or go arounds. However a Saudi 747SP that came in during a thunderstorm, 40 knot wind shear, that went around would count as vistor, lol
Ouch 40 knots! If I had PIREPS of 40 plus and minus I am pretty sure I would be looking for someplace to go without 40 +- to land for the time being.
departures were from 13R, controllers were asking aircraft to move up on taxiway P, long line
A bit guilty to but lets remember guys this thread is about aircraft vistors to JFK.
I saw the long line of planes on taxiway papa with by binoculars, there
ATA 737 either Wed or Thur......My days are a blur
ATA was Thursday, I saw her land from my house.
Sunday May 20th.. Delta new colors on an ERJ... at least I am 99% sure thats what I saw.. I was leaving at the time..
Tom
It could very well have been the Freedom ERJ that is floating about but certainly not Expressjets because that is LAX based and runs day trips aroun the west.
yea it was the freedom ERJ, i saw it last night.. and there 75 was back today.
Trumps 727 is parked by hangar 3
Wow. Is it parked behind it or on the side of the runways?
its parked behind it.. you might be able to see if from the road if you can see behind the NA 75!
That NA 757 is still there? Why do they leave it there? God.
haha come on!.. its better lookin then our a/c
Well since NAA has a really sporadic schedule for the next few weeks, and a few A/C will be OTG in JFK for an extended period I get that 4am phone call from the IAT requesting that we move our A/C to other areas. Then the Port assigns Hangar 4, Bldg 260, or over near Hangar 7. Then it is like pulling teeth to try and get those damn GSRs to help out with the transition..... Just Kidding Phil........KIND REGARDSQuote:
