Matt, I agree with Phil, mine are all back-lit due to them being morning ops and my location. On Thursday 767-200 C-GAVC was also here, operating an extra-section from YUL, very rare, as the 767 subs are almost always YYZ.

Ha ha I was in the employee parking lot at that moment peeking through the fence at that bird and my glorious new colors 737
matt, nice shots but that tint on the glass is killer. here's the difference between inside and outside my office:
INSIDE:

OUTSIDE:

You guys have amazing views form your office that most others would kill for. SO SHUT UP. :-p
I'd prefer yours over mine actually.
So do I . LOL Matt stop rubbing it in to everyone else that is my job!Quote:

DAL also brought a 763 in today, just landed on 22.
Damn Matt you beat me to it. What did you post as soon as he turned onto the scope? I will add it is a Ron Allen colored bird making it all the more rare.
Oh and to add it is Ship 172 a international config bird. and Comair new colors swung through twice. AA retro as well to boot. Good day at LGA for shizzle!
I'd hardly call a 757 the jewel of Delta's fleet.....Quote:

Pitures from July 5th. Taken again with both the 850IS and the 10D. Any day where we have some good movements we have terrible weather.

nice pics and I guess someone was trying to BBQ in the van :D
nice shots matt, but i can make out the glare in a few of them. that Car-BQ looks like a port vehicle. maybe they left it running while they were working outside. explains what that smoke was though.
Where have I seen a burning SUV at an airport before? Ah yes, perhaps some "Scottish" doctors making an LGA housecall...
WOW 2 carbeques in 2 days. OK, who has the brats. Oh yeah, and how come while I'm sweating my tuchas off in 99% humidity squinting to see a 1 inch crack you guys had time to post here?
Great catches, Matt.
The van, as I understand it, belongs to SEMAC (Structural Engineering Maintenance and Construction). It's a division of the Port with skilled workrs, etc., that they use for projects that need manpower and extra help.
Not sure how the van managed to spontaneously combust...
Brian
Whoa thats nuts! Did any newsstations pick up on it?
Not to our knowladge. Vehicle fires flight line side are actually fairly common on airport grounds. There are litterlay thousands of vehicles at airports at any given time. I would venture to bet there are probably about 1500 or more cars, trucks, etc.. with PONYA plates at LGA alone.

Allegheny's first (I believe) Dash-8 in the new US Colors just landed on 22. N838EX. Might be its first day of service...LGA777 should know.
It is the first day of service. Damn it why am I the closeing controller tonight!? Curse my bid! It is Peidmont though BTW. Alley was merged into EN a few years back.
