I guess the Angels dont show up on Flight Tracker?
DRAT this weather! It must be either Snowbirds or the Blues. So much for seeing them fly in over my house this year.:frown:
Blues are on the Main terminal ramp at FRG.
C-130 Ernie has arrived as well.
Here is one quick shot for now:

The two Snowbirds are here and parked between Sheltaire and the Museum
Someone is using call sign Blue Angel 9. I am guessing that is Ernie?
Blue Angel 9 is Ernie. Just took off on 14
That's pretty odd that he took off. Maybe to get more supplies?
Kenny I think it was a parts run
Was thinking off heading up after work to snap some shots, has anyone been up there? Would it be worth it?
There are always shot to take but tonight it would just be the planes on the ramp by the main terminal
The AAM put up the green netting so you really can't see the Snowbirds and they are parked with their tails to the fence
Did Blue Angel #2 make into FRG yet ?
Very true! Can't wait to see them, heard something shortly after 2 and knew it had to be them
Doesn't look like it, Chris. Heard he still has MX issues.
Thx, Fred.

Great pictures Fighting_falcon_51
Thanks!
Kenny, that is a pretty sick set of shots you posted there! Nice!!!
Just in case anyone is wondering there will be no flight ops tomorrow unless Blue Angel #2 comes in or there are some civilian arrivals or media flights.

Kenny when did they break out of the clouds? Ceiling was pretty dreadful here in Manhattan.
Thanks, great pics.
Blue Angel #1 reported breaking out at 400ft.
They didn't do their usual formation arrival.
This picture pretty much sums up the conditions today: http://www.flickr.com/photos/3394985...57629838233732
Wow that's crazy, but a great pic coming out of the clouds! Are those pic through the fence or were you able to get on the other side?
My best shots of the arrivals from Home Depot. Go easy on me...these shots were taken literally 60 seconds after I mounted the lens I rented for the week, comprising my first go-around with some decent glass

Im sure Ill see/meet lots of you all this coming week, so pointers and tips are welcome :)
Anyone ever notice that every time the Blue Angels arrive it is either really overcast or raining?
I was by the tower earlier, number 2 still wasn't there ( I knew that one was missing when they arrived!) and Ernie landed at 8:16 PM and is now parked in the same area as the Blues, just further South. You can see him clearly on the access road just before you have to make the right at the stop sign.
A few from later this afternoon

Fred the last two shots are priceless!
Yeah, great catch!
Thanks, I never saw them do that before
NOTAM is up http://tfr.faa.gov/save_pages/detail_2_3151.html
I wonder if there will be a practice on Thursday also (at least with the Blues) since there is a TFR.
