A Saudi 747SP is parked in front of the triple hangars, looks like it came in a little while ago. I also noted an Air France 747-400 at Terminal 1, seemed rather early in the day to have one here, I imagine it was an upgrade.
One of the only reasons I made it to JFK today... I wouldn't have otherwise give the clouds :-)

Saw the AFR 747 on 22L but did not even attempt it due to distance and the fact that it would just parallel 31L/13R and not even be visible :-( They also used the A340 again today. No A380... I guess the downed bird behind the Triple Hangars is hurting them on this route. BTW, the wing looks complete and finished as of mid-day today.
Saw German Air Force A310 land as the sea mist rolled in. Didn't see where he parked but I assume its the Triple Hangars.
A quick note on the Pullimentar 744, it was spotted in Vegas 2 hours ago.... Corseair just landed a 744 here at JFK... I wasnt here last year so I don't recall if it is a seasonal or not but this is the first time I have encountered one.

Its flying for Air India as their pilots are currently on strike. I'm pretty sure Jet Airways also picked up some of the slack as well.
I believe that Pullmantur 747 was operating for EL AL.

C-17 by triple hangers. Came in this morning while i was waiting for my flight.
A C17 came in under cover of early morning dark as part of Obama's lead team. Look out for a TFR to be issued within the next 24 to 48 for his arrival.

The Emir is back again w his A330 and crossing 22R as I write. He actually almost overran on 22L.
While on my way to Bayswater for some early morning spotting (which never happened due to the gate being locked and fog), I passed by JFK. To my surprise this DC-8 was getting ready to head out. Unfortunately I couldn't get her taking off of 4L because they sent her to 31L at Kilo Kilo. The departure shot was the best I could do considering where I was and the weather conditions (low ceiling).

As I write there is a British Airways 777-300ER rolling down Bravo to the gate. Yes, that is right, Speedbird 773ER at JFK right now.

Nice catch, Mark. That's HZ-101. She was parked at SWF last night when I drove by. I believe the aircraft belongs to the finance minister of Saudi Arabia.
Is that 101? Looks more like 102, but the heat haze is pretty bad.
Looks like 102 to me as well, which is also owned by the Saudi Air Force.
HZ-101 is the aircraft parked at SWF. It's possible both aircraft are around.

China Eastern A340-600 SkyTeam came in yesterday.
There is an all white A343 parked at triple hangers qwith stairs to the front, back and Kloader on the back bin. It was here when I came in this morning.
I got an image of the A343 sitting at the triple hangers........will post shortly. I believe Eric may have a great shot of departing off 31L.
