At long last the album I recorded with my old metal band has been released. The title is "The Summoning". We jammed when I was in college, then broke up, then reformed to make this record. It was basically the reason I wasn't taking pictures of airplanes for most of the 1990's(being lead guitarist in a metal band made it a lot easier to meet women, so...you do the math). Once real life kicked in I returned to my love for aviation!

Though I couldn't argue against William and picking up the ladies being a lead guitarist in a metal band, I have to say this gem has spawned some fairly remarkable results...me in my dad's 172 back probably around 1989-1990 or so. I was 2 or 3 when this was taken, and yes ladies, I am single :tongue:

William, are you guys planning on playing any shows in the near future? If so, will there be any outside of the Philly area?
As strange as it sounds having just released the CD, we're actually not a band anymore- the record label was kind enough to want to distribute whatever we could get recorded. The other guys still live out in Indiana and I had to practice the old parts and drive out there to the studio last year to do them. They had reformed for a little while without me, played a couple shows, then the record happened, but as of right now there are no plans(that I know of) to tour. And as tempting as such a "Blues Brothers" reunion might be, my neck is asking me to refrain from any more live performances for this type of music as the amount of whiplash I gave myself back then is enoughQuote:
