Delta 757s both ways. On the ads I've seen on the subway they say most flights from JFK to the west coast have the new interior. Anyone know if this includes LAS?
Not likely, Delta is mostly useing those planes on ATL, SLC and major business flights. LAS is considered a pleasure route though many business conventions are held there.
That sucks. I really only want it for the flight out there...I'll be flying the redeye back and sleeping.
I'm really excited about this part, something I haven't had on a flight in over 5 years...

It used to be every flight in the PM would be Dinner. I recall on TWA and DL and such seeing those planes full of dinner.
I remember hearing tales from those who were trying to make a living on TWA would hop on a flight for free on TWA, have a free diner, and then fly back and eat more, and they got their dinner for free. It was hilarious!
Have a great time, so far these are my scheduled trips...I know I will come up with more on SWA.

Ah man, a trip to LAS! Enjoy it bro; hope it's for pleasure and not business... I've been the Vegas 3 times in the past 10 months.. what a blast!
Speaking of which, I think I'm going to meet up with some people in Vegas sometime in July. If your trip is for pleasure, did you book it as a package deal or anything, and if not how much was the airfare? I've heard there are some killer deals out there since it's off season in Vegas...
Isn't DL using ex-Song aircraft on their JFK-LAS routes? I'm pretty sure at one point they were...Quote:

I also thought I read that they were using the ex-Song birds on JFK-LAS. It would make sense to me since it was a Song route, and one of the longest routes DL flies from JFK...much more valuable on a 6 hour flight than on a 90 min flight to Atlanta.
I see on the seating chart the aircraft has a Business section in the front. Does this mean it was not a Song bird, or did they rip out some coach seats on them and install biz class?
DL ripped out coach seats and put in First/Business Class on their song planes.

7/13 JFK-BOS on B6, Babys 2nd flight was a piece of cake.
Tomorrow morning, LGA-PHL-BDL-CLT-LGA for fun as long as I am not too tired when I get out of the tower at 0200.
I did not fly the trips I was going to. I was way too tired to stick around the airport for a few more hours to get on planes and not even enjoy the flights because I was soo tired. Only one day off this week!
Looks like I am headed back to DAL next week for a meeting..
Not sure of my flights yet But its on the 25th of July...

I have to come to New York next weekend to sign some papers for an apartment I hope to rent, so, it's gonna be a quickie!
