Yea I saw it. I missed it. FOILED AGAIN BY IBERIA.
How often is the Saudi 747SP at JFK/EWR? It seems it visits the NY airports a lot
I already have it, but I'm just curious.
Its a hit or miss. It depends on what they decide to send in. I'm waiting for the 707 to come back. I really want that. It wont be flying forever. How old is it now? like over 60? You can only revert so many times before the actual frame decides its had it.Quote:

Any info about the special arrivals that came into H3 tonight? There were 2 YES 2 OF THEM. 1st one was a passenger 773 unmarked except for a blue streak just below the windows and on the tail. As for the 2nd one I didnt see it till it was at H3 so I got no info except it was small.
That was the Mid East Jet B772. Looks like she dropped some passengers off then took off to Orlando.Quote:

Wish it was during the day. I would have had a chance at it. Once it got dark I was SOL.
Well if we have any friends at YYZ you guys got a diversion today. Cathay 773 diverted over during the storm. And for you guys in Boston you got Iberia diverted over today.
the Saudi 707?? That's been gone for a few years. If you mean N88ZL then nevermind!Quote:

So N777AS is here at MCO.. wonder if I should bother to get it leaving... its a cool sight, just somewhat anonymous looking
Yup i mean 88ZL. Hoping it comes in soon when there it still a good amount of daylight out so I can get it.Quote:

88ZL is parked in the desert. Don't think it's going to be coming back anytime soon!

Since when? It was in MIA last week
Mark I am getting really confused with everyone quoting each other now. Are you asking about how many times N88ZL visits thew NY area a year? It varies from year to year but generally 4 to 7 times it would be either at EWR or JFK.
Also Yes N88ZL is at OPF now. Seen just a handful of days ago. I was told it looks like its might get repainted.

What a quoting soup!
Senga, it was me, asking about the Saudi SP. But, N88ZL must visit the JFK area much more than 4 times a year!
I wouldn't be surprised its in OPF getting getting repainted because maint. is usually done by Commercial Jet in MIA. It might have been once or twice since, but last time I saw it at OPF was in 2005. A new colorscheme would be great (anything but dark blue please!)
Man, I hope ZL is not getting parted. She is gorgeous. I am curious if anyone but the USAF even does type ratings on those jets here state side.
Mario,
Yes N88ZL hits JFK around that amount and EWR a few times as well. You can usually count on seeing it during the UNGA and then the week around Christmas.
The SVA SP rarely visits JFK. In 2009 it hit JFK a few times witch is very unusual in the couple of years I have been in NY. the SP can hit EWR several times a year.

It isnt an ER so its unlikely it will be over.
Delta Habitat for Humanity B763 is inbound to JFK. ETA is 2:08PM

VP-BPZ is filed for a 2104L arrival to LGA.
Yup missed that one :( Although I have it already :borat: On another note the Face To Face BA 747 is sitting overnight. ETD of 0850 in the morning. The colors are the same but it says Face To Face on the front. This 747 (G-BNLO) and G-VIIV (772) are the only ones with Face To Face on them. It was part of their new ad campain and they had some special flights and they put the words on them.Quote:
