Nice shots of Trump!
Great Shots!
I remember reading somewhere that the TRUMP on each side was made out of 24k. gold leaf. Is it still the real gold? Looks like they use gold paint now instead.
The canary in my right ear says it is paint but expensive paint. On to the important stuff now, Trump just blasted off 13 for PBI. It was a tad too dark for quality but I snapped pics anyhow.
they're taking the airplane to VQQ:

Donald took early leave today in nice light. I shot it again this week.
He came into FRG sometime this morning.. with his chopper.. i would say around 930ish.. went to atlantic
Saw his chopper going over the verazano last friday, was pretty cool!
Trump landed at LGA at 14:23 today
13 April
IAD guys heads up, the world's prettiest 727 is heading your way. VP-BDJ is filed for a 1830 ETA. http://flightaware.com/live/flight/VPBDJ
update: LGA is in the works too, 2111 ETA for that leg. we'll have to beautiful bent-wing boeings here tonight...
Trump just landed on 31. I finnaly laid my eyes on the beauty when it soared above my house.
Trump arrived at Cecil Field (VQQ) about an hour ago.
Just my luck - I was planning on going to LaGuardia next week to get him - I'd assume this is the annual maintainence?
He's arrived back at LGA from VQQ.
Has anyone seen it yet? Anything changed?
i saw the airplane rolling out on 22 as i was leaving the employee lot and didn't see anything obviously changed. when i was on the service road rounding the end of 22 i did see the airplane taxi to parking and noticed the beacon was a strobe, which struck me as odd but i can't remember that airplane having a revolving beacon.
i'll be away from LGA for two weeks so i won't be seeing that airplane for some time. hopefully others will.
Trump always had a revolving one.
Heads up the LGA folk and anyone at JFK....
Your tracked aircraft VPBDJ has just filed a flight plan. It is scheduled to depart KLGA (La Guardia) at 11:50AM EDT heading for KJFK (John F Kennedy Intl) for an arrival at 12:17PM EDT.
Expected route: BDR248 CCC285 CCC DPK
Due to depart for KLAX at around 1520. As of now a 13R departure. Very shootable.
I'm guessing because of the fuel load needed for LAX combined with the 90 plus degree temps in NYC the JFK leg was for weight and balance reasons. The crew probably ferried over, put on the required fuel for a Transon, and then waited for DT to arrive from probably Manhattan. I have witnessed several LAX bound departures of BDJ off 13 at LGA where it used more than 6000 feet of runway to get airbourne on days cooler and less humid than Thursday.

I noticed that N76DT once in a while files flight plans to ACY, but does is it actually going to ACY or is it landing on the helipad at the Taj Mahal? I'm going to be in Atlantic City next week and I'd love to get it.
i wouldn't be surprised if they file for ACY because the helo pad doesn't have an official FAA identifier. most likely the pilots will cancel IFR and make a visual approach into the pad if possible. if they can't legally do it then they might just end up at ACY.
VP-BDJ is on her way back to JFK, due to curfew closure of LGA tonight, 29 July. 0225L the ETA.
on an interesting side note, N218JT was also in LAS and is currently enroute to OMA. i'll leave you figure out who the airplane belongs to. here's a hint, she replaced a G-IIB. http://flightaware.com/live/flight/N218JT
I know who 218JT belongs to but for those who I have not guessed yet it looks like OMA was just a fuel stop and if you looked where ended up it's a really good clue to who she belongs to.

I am off today but picked up some friends this morning at LGA and Trump was their so he must had the crew stay with the airplane at JFK then bring it over when LGA opened. I heard a few Airbusses over my place this morning on the right base to 22 LGA but I guess I managed to sleep thru the 727, looking at below went right over my hood !

As I was leaving last night I'm just getting up onto the Belt coming out of Federal Circle and sure enough guess what passes over my head going into 13L. Any guesses why he came into JFK this early?

For this reason! :)
Your tracked aircraft VPBDJ has just filed a flight plan. It is scheduled to depart KJFK (John F Kennedy Intl) at 09:55AM EDT heading for KLCQ (Lake City Muni) for an arrival at 12:05PM EDT.
Expected route: RBV J230 COPES J75 TAY GNV
If you click on the above map you can see BDJ was holding for a while over NW Penn, due to volume at LGA. I am guessing due to fuel they needed to divert and JFK was accepting arrivals when LGA was not.Quote:

Well BDJ is back home at LGA, hard to tell if she was repainted in LCQ or not, could not get that close enough and she is in the same scheme. However the tail and fuselage both seemed really shiny. Perhaps we will get a closer look at Kids Day.

Just saw this nice shot of VP-BDJ landing on 18L at TPA on Super Bowl Sunday, enjoy !
