The BBJ is N888TY, beautiful aircraft privately owned by a toy designer who among other things invented "Beanie Babies"Quote:

However with so many of AC's LGA-YYZ flights now being E-175's and 190's it's more like 3 into 1 762 or 763. Perhaps in the future they will do the same with the 787 ? Several times in the late 80's while working at Piedmont I actually saw AC do the same thing with the L-1011 though sadly never got a photo.

Amazing what Ty bought with his Beanie Baby money. He's also apparently the owner of the Four Seasons Hotel in Manhattan, i.e. he owns the building and Four Seasons is contracted to manage it for him.
I was at my friends house today near co-op city in the bronx, and around 5pm or 6pm i saw a Boeing 727 appoaching LGA. Anyone Know who that was? Heres the picture here,

that was the amerijet zero-g 727. there's a separate thread on in.
That was the Zero G 727 that everyone was fussing about coming back from a sortie over the Atlantic ocean. It did two flights. You observed the second of the two landing after the FAA authorized us back to a two runway operation. Be glad you saw it. It has new colors.
ha ha, beat you to it spellman!
Two of my photos of the Zero G 727 (already posted in the other thread):

The yanks are flying out on a 757-200 with winglets. It is sitting at gate Alpha 1 awaiting them with extra towels onboard because the yanks will be crying all the way to BFI tonight after that whopping unfortuneately. Also the Texas Rangers 727-200 has been here for the series and they should be leaving in a few hours along with the Yanks.
the white spirit A321 came in again, second day in a row. i really wish they kept that paint scheme!
Ditto that Matt.
ATA Boeing 757-300 landed at LGA this evening
Wish I was working for that one. Looks like Matt was the only lucky one tonight.

It came in around 7:20 from MDW. I would have love to seen a 753 blast off from MDW's short runway.
Midwest MD-88 in the Bucks configuration is coming in as YX5 tonight. I'll be on YX9 though..... :(
Delta 767-400 (big boy at LGA)

Just to put this fire fight out I thought I would mention we just had an EMB-120 Brasillia depart for Marthas Vinyard. It has been in and out for two days. It is based in Helena, Montana.
of course you forgot to mention the fact that a VW Air Service falcon 2000 and that private L1011 owner's G-IIB. to think that you're a Peeler protege! SHAME!!!
(Smacks head than smacks YOU!)
i caught that brasilia departing 4 as i was driving in to the parking lot, and she just landed on 31 a few minutes ago. still trying to figure out where she went. other than that, N584NK is here again.
sadly, the brasilia left yesterday and headed west. they were flying VRF so no tracking. as for today, on my drive in i saw a AAL 763 turning base to final. that was around 1130. just after 1230, a USN CH-53 flew directly overhead, headed WSW towards the city.
the 763 departed as AAL2093 to MIA.

American 767-300
The 757 was from PACe (hooters formaerly) and that plane went to LAS. Speculation but based on the fact that Trump left earlier and went to MDW and is not enroute to LAS they are related in some way or another. Too bad I did not know you were here at LGA I would have came down from the tower for a few minutes to say hello. Cheers
there was a C-130J that departed LGA today around 1400, ron got a so-so shot of it only because we didn't realize it was there until it was on the roll.
today's been a pretty good day for visiting airplanes. the USAF brought in 95-0093, a C-12 in all white with "United States of America" titles above the windows. netjets brought in a beechjet, and a few civilian citations were here as well. flexjet had both a challenger 600 and lear 60. there was even a piper cheiftain, N12FJ. N273AF was here as well, that beautiful blue and white pilatus.
LGA is up and down 22 right now, and looking at the forecast below they'll be that way for most of the day since 13/31 is currently closed for construction. too bad i'm at work.

We saw something pretty cool late this afternoon, though location and weather did permit a photo. Private 757 operated by Pace N757BJ was in position on 13 for departure waiting for landing traffic Private 727 and LGA regular N31TR to roll out on 22 right in front of the 757. The 72 departed around 45 mins later on 13 presumably empty as it was airborne in about 3000 feet with a very steep and beautiful climb out.

I agree, that 727 climb was very graceful. Delta has also been bringing in the 767-300 recently. The last 3 days it has been in at least once. Yesterday was an internationally configured one. Other than the above mentioned it was just a nother dull day of spotting for a living.
Peter Nygard 727 has been here for a few days and we had not one but TWO yes two Delta 757's in new colors come in back to back here. US was supposed to bring a 757 in but last minutes swapped her for a 320 due to mx. It has been the day of 757's here and also not soo noteable but an AA 757 winglet conversion popped through earlier.
Friday June 8th, this beauty and I believe first time LGA Visitor spent a few hours at 5 Towers mid-day Friday

The Peter Nygard 727 also departed late afternoon.
Due to the New York Center Power failure we had a lot of gridlock and a really bad afternoon and evening.

Saturday June 9th 13-31 was closed all day so LGA was up and down 4. The Columbian Air Force BBJ returned again and departed within a few hours. Air Canada upgraded Flight 708 from an A-320 to a 763 in the old colors.
