Wow, what's up with that Delta? Owned by "WILMINGTON TRUST CO TRUSTEE"
That other 738 is Miami Air, right?
Yep, some kind of charter....I really wish that I was able to take a better shot but 18mm handheld at 1AM.Quote:

Wow the 732 still has DAL cowlings on it! Cool pic Fred.
Great shots of the 25's there. That will always be the best thing in the world to me to fly.
What Fred may or may not realise, is that in the pic of the LJ25, N125PT, the operator is Ventura Air Service...the hangar he got in the background.
As for the 737 charters....Miami Air (N752MA) brought in the Isles after their road trip. N251TR came in Monday with the Carolina Hurricanes,
and based on when and where parked, N332DL flew in the Washington Capitals (SkyKing according to FlightAware.com). All hockey charters for those not in the know
That one slipped by me John, Here is an uneditied HDR image from last night...

This bird, along with a 738 in standard Miami Air markings departed FRG within about 10 minutes of each other this afternoon.
Sorry you missed it Tommy. One day we'll have to tell you all about it :D
Moose, could you copy-paste the EXIF data from that first picture?
WOW! Nice shots fellas.

Shot with the 18-55mm kit lens. I actually used the "Auto Color" function in Photoshop 7.0 to remove the yellow cast of the ramp lights.
Very nice, any reason for Aperture of f.7.1?
I was wondering what you were doing to keep that yellow tint off!
I wanted to make sure I had enough depth of field, but if I went any smaller, I would have been pushing past a 30 second exposure. I don't have a remote for the 30D yet, so I couldn't really get into bulb mode.
I really should figure out how to do eliminate the color cast manually...I guess if I shot in Raw it would be easier (or so I've been told) I really didn't have time to play with the white balance settings in the camera, that's something I need to play with as well.
Nice shots Fred & John...damn, some good stuff coming into FRG while I'm away. :x
An odd aircraft for Farmingdale, early this morning
http://Derf.smugmug.com/photos/123748416-M.jpg
Just drove down New Highway - Continental Express ERJ was sitting on the ramp. I didn't get the rego, but the plane had a blue tail and was untitled except for the "Expressjet" markings on the engines.
Ahh that is onesexy plane. I think I have flown on that one before IAH-SRQ
This morning at 12:15am... I thought I was going to see an S-3 Viking!

Just incase anyone needs..... I have some extra grain in this photo, Help yourself
http://fromtheflightdeck.com/temp/ny...MG_0387800.jpg
Oh I'm happy you got that Fred! last week when I was going to work I saw her. I wonder how she is configured inside, still pax or biz jet?
Nice catch Fred, I assume that was the Islanders returning from their game in Atlanta. But no sign of that S-3?
I think I used up almost all the grain in my camera with the last set of
shots....these have little grain.
http://fromtheflightdeck.com/temp/ny...1_09_10800.jpg
I wonder if that would be rejected?
Doesn't look bad to me Fred. I've seen more grain in night shots then your pic, I'd send it up and see what goes.
Nice shot Fred. What, did you lose my phone number?
Well I know Fred lost mine, that's cool thoug..... 8)Quote:

John that's a great shot, I really need to start bringing my camera to work...I've said this a million times now... lol Really though that's a top notch shot.
Thanks Tom, it's in the queue at jp.net, maybe you'll get to screen it!Quote:

Good catch man!
Out of everyone in this area I've only screened Futterman's pics. There's so much Euro stuff the U.S stuff makes up such a small percent of photos in the que.Quote:
