10:10am departure.. 11:02 scheduled arrival!
If you look at the routing, it looks like a RWY 11 arrival? That would SUCK!!! lol

I know most runway 22 approaches use SAX (Sparta VOR), then a right turn over the Meadowlands for a straight in. This morning the winds were from the west which rule out a 11 approach. If anything it would be a 29 approach but all the big boys are using 22L so far today.
Just my observation.

Think I just heard they cleared to push.
Boeing 787 heavy experimental line up and wait and should be in air shortly.
Cleared to a 22L approach.
I was on the phone talking to my boss when she flew right over me! One hand on phone, the other with the DSLR! I'm out of practice.
Quick one for now.

Hahaha... here comes the real one...
Nicely done Manny.
Great shot Manny.
Where were you? I was in the Port Authority maintenance parking lot and got the same shot, will post later.
Did you hear the UA pilot on 22R? He was given clearance for take off but when he heard that the 787 was landing he requested to sit in position for 30 seconds to watch it land.

ya still have jaggies behind the engine cowl by the high bypass exhaust....just saying
