Nick, I was joking about the trackers. Amstels? A conservative after my own heart. The only reason it was Millers last night was because 7-11 was out of Amstels and I refuse to drink Buds especially when they supported Obama. One thing man, try the Amstels at room temp. They taste so much better that way!

Miller is, as Tom said, pee pee in a mug. So is Bud and Coors.
Leffe, Heineken, Sam Adams are a few that come to mind. If I am going to indulge in a beer, I am going to make it an enjoyable one. Also, there area LOT of great microbrews out there...

Alright, I create a new "Inbounds" sticky thread in Aircraft Visitors. In order to make is attract enough activity, it will not just be a New york inbounds thread, and photos of what peolpe caught would go in new threads.
If you guys have any thoughts, or heck, any inbound aircraft to post, please do. :)

Huh? How about the fact they aren't even American owned anymore. That really surprised me. Yea Amstel is ok warm. It's a good tasting brew.

FYI flew into JFK today and the Monarch 757 was still hardstanded near the west side of T4. Anyone know how long it will be here and when it's slated to depart?

Should be simple enough to track down, but although we've tried in previous years, we've never figured it out, nor what the purpose of the flight is. It does not appear to be related to cruise ships, VIP movement or sub for another airline. It stays a few days and then its gone.
Possibly it was/is a "shopping" charter similar to what Jet2 did at EWR last year (and appears to be doing this year - arrives sometime on Thursdays, then departs on Sunday nights), although the Monarch appears to be 1x a year.

When there's a will, there's a way.
It's obvious not everyone has the chance to check the flight tracker, one could be busy doing something else. It also doesn't require any special skills other than scrolling your mouse. Besides Flightaware I also used Flytecomm and that site has gone to crap, their full airport arrivals list feature is gone. Now it's confusing and probably useless anyways. Setting up Acars is more complicated so a thread about it would be welcome. It's helpful when more than one person is checking the flightrackers.
Say, UN visitors time or something rare is expected go "hardcore" and have folks listen to different frequencies, not just leaving it up to one person while the rest talks about beer, women, or the next vacation they're taking.
Also arrival times of special visitors not on the trackers can be texted (if it's too sensitive to post), that info is usually known at the FBOs and members with ramp access could find out. When some guy over in Europe is the only one positing arrivals into NY City I mean, c'mon
Some aren't happy about not having caught a rather ordinary (I guess rare in NY) Monarch 757. When I went there
exclusively to spot the rarer visitors, the Cathay World City was seen inbound (ok that's common but not everyone has it), then Air Zimbabwe 767 was heard on the radio and I literally begged some people to go to the other runway to catch them, and nobody wanted to go.Thankfully I walked over to Bill (whom I did not even know) and he was up for it. Everyone else seemed happy to stay and and shoot the infinite parade of JetBlue A320s that kept coming in.
Monarch A332 is a regular down here in the summer, if anyone is visiting don't be afraid to PM me if you need a ride or info about spots.
