No. As I explained in the Jones Beach thread, Bob was flying the P-40 owned by Warbirds Over Long Island, which he flew regularly. The AAM also owns a P-40, with different markings, which also flies in local airshow events.

Around the time it crashed I saw a News 12 heli fly over my dads house which is in amity harbor.

I heard it from an untrusted source, keep us posted because if they are doing a public memorial I will probably attend.
