Can you drive a manual transmission car? Do you prefer it?


Yes, my old car was a 6 Speed Manual. I can drive and have driven everythign from a Three speed on the Tree to a EATON-FULLER 18 Speed Lo Lo manual gear box. I drive in my personal car (Dodge Magnum RT) a 5 Speed Automatic. Yes damn it I miss the Manual and I do prefer it in sports cars, small cars and huge trucks. Though in Family cars, vans and SUVs/Pickups auto is the way to go. If you have a VW then its an unwirtten rule to have it stick same with a Jeep TJ


That being said. Do you have a licence to drive a highway truck with Air Brakes?

nope (but I can drive a manual shift car, not much auto-shifts in this part of the world, fortunately).

Yes I do, I have both Transport Canada's and the FAA's PPL

wjy do we have to feel pain?

I would rather feel pain then not, I saw on Oprah a little girl that could feel no pain, she has taken her eyes out, burnt her self and cut her self to the point of almost dying because she could not feel the pain. We feel pain to prevent us from hurting our self.

Ever see the guy hit by wake in "Concorde - Airport 79"
I was close enough to a concorde landing and got a good enough blast of wake...enough to knock me off my feet and scare the crap out of me....Oh, and I could hear crunching in my ear with any audible sound for a day or two. THAT WAS CLOSE ENOUGH FOR ME THANK YOU

I think I was 5 so I am sure it seemed a LOT more powerful



I also got hit by the exaust of a lear and pushed me a good 15 feet or so.... That also sucked........actually it blew.
