My next one to get screened is still #950 in line and its been in there almost 15 days too! It says right when you submit that it takes 2-3 days, what happened to that??
I'm with y'all. The queue suddenly went up, but the daily uploads did not... On the other hand, let's not forget that screeners do this for fun, so we can't be too demanding.
BUT, I think that JP's issue has to do with the fact that their team of screeners is not as spread out world-wise as A.net's. If they had screeners on more time zones, I'm sure everything would go faster. I noticed that the queue stops moving at the same time everyday (usually when Europe is sleeping).
It can also mean, Vacations/Holidays, lack of desire, less screens per day per screener etc. It is all Voluntary I believe, for both A.net and JP.net. It does not matter how deep the queue is... you can always post immediately to Flickr or A.net's sister site, MyAviation.net which has no screening... One option you can use is to upload only one image per day. This way your rotation is better and you have a screen every so often which feels better than waiting for two weeks :-)
Here are a couple from my AZ trip;

Lots of hits on this little Grob 120. It amazes me what photos capture peoples attention sometime.
Taken at Scottsdale Airport. I am really liking the smaller reliever/GA airports. You can get a lot closer and people seem friendlier!

I hear what you guys are saying about the queue, I have gone to uploading two pictures everyday or other day. Keeps things fresh, instead of waiting 15 days for an image to clear:frown:
Talk about wide-angle! Great shot Cary (big fan of your work) :cool:

I appealed JP.net on this one.....AND WON!!!!

They said it was similar to another photo I uploaded. I appealed it by pretty much saying that the photo was taken at a different angle than the previously submitted photo and that I see many other users upload two very similar angles of the same plane and get them accepted back to back. About an hour later I get an email saying that the appeal was accepted.
Happened to me earlier this week.... used the same arguments and FAILED :biggrin:
I guess it depends on the screener...
