Booked my trip to Europe for next weekend. I wanted to go South, MAD or BCN but US Airways is not flying there on Sundays which means that I wouldn't be able to redeem my miles using saver fare.
Last night I found sweet deal to ZRH. 30K miles in First class (60K RT). I waited until this morning. I had to ask my boss for day off :) He didn't have problem with me taking day off, but by the time I checked the reward travel flights - my ZRH flight was gone! I could still go to ZRH but using 80K miles and flying economy class. I was searching for alternate european cities with good spotting :)
AMS was worth 35K RT, so I booked it.

Last week did MCO-JFK-MCO on AA S80's and Im about to leave for MCO - this time for MCO-LGA/JFK-MCO on S80s yet again.
Today is my booking day. Booked another US Airways flight.
Feb 24
DCA - PHX US A319
PHX - OAK US A319
Feb 29
OAK - LAS US A320
LAS - DCA US A319
I could have flown with 2 connections each way but in the last two weeks of February I will put 20 000 miles in the air. It looks fine when you are booking those flights but its not funny when you actually have to get back home connecting in PHX, RDU, and PHL :)

NRT-ITM is the actual tour.

NH2176 ITM-NRT (B777) (Osaka Itami to Tokyo Narita: 1hr 10min flight on a 777...must be interesting.)
NH0010 NRT-JFK (B777)
Anyone been on ANA before? I've never taken them. Have they ever taken their 772's into JFK? I've noticed that all of their 777's I've seen at JFK have been 773's. I've never been on a 773 before; only 772's.
The actual tour of Japan is between Tokyo and Osaka. Never been on a T7 flight less than 10 hrs. long, so that ITM-NRT leg should prove interesting.
I think ANA's 772s are the non-ER version, so I doubt they've ever made it over here.
We are sniffing around a trip to Vegas this summer (cheap hotel rates, only time we can travel).
Flying will probably include:
Delta
DAB-ATL-LAS
LAS-ATL-DAB
Call me nuts but this weekend should be interesting!
