I haven't had much time for much besides work since I took a significant promotion but in the next two weeks I am planning to take a Sarasota run it looks like. I am also looking at my first trip to Germany which would actually be spring next year. When the lease on my current car comes up next year I am thinking about buying an Audi and doing the European delivery package. Save 5% and have an excuse to go to Europe with hotel and meals paid for... Yes please.
Just booked by yearly visit to England. No wife to entertain so I imagine LHR, LGW, MAN spotting will occur as long as I can afford to move around.

Just got back from the first snow birding trip of the winter. Monday I did JBU 341 JFK-SRQ and a few hours ago I landed on JBU 348 from SRQ. Tennative plans have me in SRQ for 3 days exactly a month from today and in CLT for a couple of days starting December 27th or so. First trip of the new year will also likely be SRQ followed closely by Liberia, Costa Rica and France. The trip to France not being as exciting as the trip home from there. :cool:

Quick trip to DFW next week. AA 1770 RDU - DFW (MD-80) Monday, AA2214 DFW-RDU (MD-80) Tuesday. May swing by the CR Smith museum on Monday (if they are open on Mondays) and pursue the archives. My son gave me a pair of business class seats for Christmas, which indicate they are from an AA 767-200, but they are marked as 12A/B and every seat map I can find for the AA 767-200 shows business class ending at row 11.

I am going to head to LAX for spotting in January. It's just a day trip. In February, I am taking a two day trip to Dubai for some city photography. Later in the spring, around May, I am hitting up St. Maarten for drinking, spotting, and drinking.

Yep, I've planned JFK on 6th and 10th of March. I've contacted some photographers via Jetphotos and Airliners.net. Some of them, for example Manny and Kaz, if I remember right, want to meet me on 10th if it fits. The 6th is a bit complicated because of it's a normal working day. Non-stop was $1096, which my boss didn't approve (I couldn't make the early-morning JFK flight). So I'll be stopping in IAD in both directions. A new airport (IAD) and three new aircraft types (CRJ200, CRJ700, EMB-170).
