Was there a C-17 at JFK yesterday? Was at HoBe in the evening just around/after sunset and saw what looked like the profile of one departing from 4L.

I just saw this on the Lufthansa Cargo Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/lufthansacargoag?fref=photo). Charlie Papa is going to make her last flight through JFK on May 12th en route to Tulsa, OK. The left side looks like it has employee signatures on it.

The MD-11F will fly her last flight on 12 May, taking off from Frankfurt/Germany at 9:10 AM local time and flying to JFK airport in New York (arrival at 11:50 AM local time). After that she will take off for her last mission to the Lufthansa Technik Component Services in Tulsa/Oklahoma, arriving at 3.30 PM local time. If you spot her on one of her last flights up in the air, take a picture and send it to us per direct Message. We then will share the best images here on our page.
Two charter or VIP A320s and a Saudi A340 by the deicing tent. It's a downpour now so I don't think I'm going to get photos worth anything, but if the weather breaks, they'd be a nice few catches.
