Monday
1100: AF2 (98-0001) turning final for LGA 22
1245: The Iran A340 (EP-AJA) flew to Havana this morning, so heads up and look south for when it eventually comes here.
1305: re:Below, it's RA-96017 as RSD8. It looks to be about 20 minutes ahead of NAX7005 for ETA tracking purposes (2000-ish).
1445: Vistajet Global 9H-VJH about 30 minutes out from JFK. It's showing SL001 as the callsign, so I assume this is Sierra Leone's ride this year.
1620: The Uganda is over Newfoundland, so it's still about 2 hours out.
1705: The French Falcons are on final; the Turkish G550 is out to SWF, and the Vistajet/Sierra Leone has departed.
1800: re: below, Ben, the Mexican Legacy departed under its reg and went to Fort Lauderdale. It arrived using the reg as callsign, too. Tracking began at altitude over the Florida Strait, so it came from somewhere in the Western Caribbean. Where did the ENE001 bit come from?
1805: The Czech 319 and Uganda are just passing Portland, ME. They're right behind the Icelandair flight, so should be an 1850-ish arrival.
2030: Looks like Stewart for the Djibouti and the Turks, the Uganda is headed south to Dover.
2115: Czech to FRG; Germany A340 16+02 about a half-hour out.
0035: Finally something truly rare shows up - Swiss F900 T-785 is in the descent for either EWR or TEB, probably the latter. Meanwhile, the German 340 went to Dulles and the Russia IL-96 went to Andrews as RSD28.
Also a request from me - has anyone gotten a whiff of the Argentina 757 yet?
One of the Russian IL-96 aircraft is just East of Norway beginning the Atlantic crossing.
CTM008 + CTM011 both French Fa7X heading for JFK, as well as GAF A340 16+02 for another night arrival
Does anybody know who ENE001 was on Sunday? It was a chartered, Mexican registered (XA-RWS) Legacy 600.
Slowly working on some UN visitors. Here are a few for now:

Tuesday
0910: FAC1209, the Colombia 734, went from Andrews and is going straight to Stewart. El Al 33 (B763/4X-EAR) is due at 1820. Brazil E190 2590 is about 50 miles south of Westhampton, might be going straight to Islip [EDIT: Going to FRG].
1000: A7-HHK, A342, on approach to JFK [1330: has now departed, headed west]
1100: The Iran 343, EP-AJA/MERAJ2, is over the SC/NC border. Should be here around 1215. [1500: Departed southbound; Andrews is the usual for them]
1125: The Qatar 748, A7-HHE, is about 15 minutes out from JFK. [Bricktop, it was this one Oh, Monday, nevermind. Re-double-nevermind, it was this one!]
1415: Honduras Legacy FAH-001 is northbound over eastern NC. Should be in the area in about 45 minutes, though which airport is unknown. [1505: On final for JFK; 1645: Has departed for SWF]
1425: No idea what's up with this one, but there's a Tunisian C-130J over Martha's Vineyard. At typical C-130 speeds, if it's coming to New York, it'll be here, uh, Thursday? [EDIT: Trucked along at FL260 right past here. EDIT2: Andrews.]
1435: Quick trip for the Mexicans - the 787 is filed back into JFK to arrive at 1745.
1740: Add about 20 minutes on the Mexican; it just departed CEF
1825: Mexico arrived 22L (AARGH), and the El Al 767 should be on the ground in 10 minutes.
2000: The RAF 330 is back at JFK. There's a German AF Global (14+04) over Labrador. These usually go to IAD, but if it's indeed coming here, ETA will be about 2200.
2115: Brazil E145 2584 just turning final for JFK.
2138: HZ-MF1 is departing FRG
2142: HZ-MF1 is arriving JFK
2145: The Luftwaffe Global is descending for the New York area. It's pretty far west, so it could very well TEB-bound. [EDIT: Yep, Teterboro]
2147: Not UN related, but I found I-NEMO (F900) descending over the Hudson Valley.
2240: Arrivederci, Italia; A319 MM62209 off JFK and headed for the crossing.
2240: Au revoir, Canada; CANFORCE 1 off TEB and headed back to the true north, strong and free.
2310: Cheerio, Britain; ZZ336 has departed JFK headed Pond-ward.
2330: Au revoir, aussi, France; from JFK, two Froggy Falcons Flying far away.
2330: The Bolivia Falcon 900 is filed to arrive TEB at 0700 tomorrow morning.
Thanks for the Argentina news, Ben + Baz. I had a feeling the 757 was out of commission, since their President flew commercial to Washington a few months ago, but I was still holding out hope after missing it by minutes last year.
German Luftwaffe A310 (10+25) is above Quebec City. Probably too far North/West to be coming to the area, but it's out there.
Does anyone know who was the B748 that landed around 11:30 am Tuesday? I saw it on FR, and got a visual but was too far away to identify it.
Ahh, it was the Qatar Amiri 747-8.
AME4552 F900 and AME4548 A310 arrived this night from Torrejon, departure for both around 04.00 am
Wednesday:
Saw another Italian (62243, I think) depart this morning.
The Bolivian Falcon repositioned to Wilmington as per usual (does mx at Dassault there)
1250: The Air China 744 is on final for JFK.
1350: The Brazil 319 is just off of ISP heading for JFK.
1440: Slovakia 319 is off CEF, should be at JFK in 15-20 minutes.
1500: MARINE 1 flotilla just departed Wall Street. Heads up JFK in about 12 minutes.
1520: Zai chen, China. Off JFK and headed all the way to Ottawa.

1610: Brazil E190 2590 arrived JFK from ISP.
1625: C-17 04-4132 as REACH 413T arriving. Tunisia BBJ is right behind it.
1630: Ukraine 319 descending for Kennedy. The Exodus is officially on!
1710: Auf Widerluege, Switzerland! Their Falcon T-785 is climbing northbound out of Teterboro.
1725: [Goodbye in Slovakian], Slovakia! They're Atlantic-bound from JFK.
1740: Tchau, Brasil! The A319 is heading southeast and away.
1745: BBJ HZ-MF2 looks to be descending for Newark.
1750: Hej da, Sweden! The G550 is out of Teterboro and headed back to the land of lingonberries. Enjoy your free healthcare and 4 months of darkness!
2115: Spain A310 T.22-2 (or T-22.2, I can never remember) just popped up out of Stewart. AME4539 on the call. [EDIT: Over the ocean, so this one's out, as well]
2120: German Global 14+04 was out of TEB and headed Ost. Based on the position, it left about an hour ago.
2121: Ma'a Salama, Saudi Arabia! BBJ HZ-MF2 departed Newark around 2110.
2122: Ma'a Salama, Tunisia! BBJ TS-IOO looks like it left JFK about 45 minutes ago.
2150: Kuwait 345 (9K-GBB/KUG5) departed SWF.
2152: HZ-SKY, the A346 has also departed from JFK. Don't know if it had a delegation or not.

2240: Da pobachenya, Ukraine! UR-ABA is going home.
2320: Nashle, Czech Republic! A319 2801 has departed JFK as CEF1.
For reference, these are the countries scheduled to speak today: Finland, Zimbabwe, Chile, China, Namibia, Colombia, Ghana, Ukraine, Saudi Arabia, Burma, Kenya, Afghanistan, Japan, Kuwait, Pakistan, Togo, Croatia, Dominican Republic, Sri Lanka, Micronesia, Latvia, Bosnia, Guinea-Bissau, Czech Republic, Bolivia, Mozambique, Estonia, Nauru, Gambia, Ethiopia, Romania, Bangladesh, Georgia, Australia, Thailand, Montenegro.
The Slovak A319 is a new one for me. Its Sad to see the TU-154 replaced.

Just got back home to Philly and I have to say, this was by far the most fun UN Week I've ever had. Thanks to all for the great company, great conversations, and by all means great memories that will keep me going until next year. I remain humbled by the depth of aviation knowledge possessed by this spotting community and feel privileged to be a part of it, and friend to all of you.
I won't be gumming up the thread with the shots we all got but may post some people/gear shots as I edit them.

Anyone there today when the sonic boom scared the crap out of the whole South Shore?
Nice overview of some of the traffic at SWF this year: https://instagram.com/p/BKnS2NdAZRk/
Looks like the Iraqi 77L snuck in.
Yes, it's HZ-SKY. Looks like the Iraq was on the ground at JFK from 0330-0600 on Monday morning. Clockwise from the left, I see Cote D'Ivoire 319 TU-VAS, Chile 763 985, Zimbabwe 762 Z-WPF, Cameroon 762 P4-CLA, Turkey G550 TC-ATA, Turkey 330 TC-TUR, Egypt 342 SU-GGG, Iraq 77L YI-AQZ, UNK Airbus, A346 HZ-SKY, Kuwait A345 9K-GBB, Kuwait 748, Unknown jetliner, Pakistan G450 J-756, Honduras Legacy FAH-001, Djibouti F7X J2-HPV, Niger BBJ 5U-GRN, UAE 788, 310 HZ-NSA.
Thursday:
Early AM: Senegal, Egypt, and Colombia have all relocated to JFK before 0900. A USAF C-17 also landed JFK just before 9 on a REACH-T callsign. The Australia BBJ went from HPN to ADW. The Japanese PM is due to travel to Cuba today, but I don't know if that's already happened, or is still to come later this afternoon.
0920: Venezuela 732 0207 is off SWF and not on a reposition track, so it's heading out of our area. I believe this is also the "unknown jetliner" between Pakistan and Kuwait from the post above.
1000: Brazil E145 2584 and Chile 763 985 both arriving JFK.
1005: And another ma'a salama, this time for Egypt! SU-GGG is passing Martha's Vineyard.
1025: The G450 P4-BFL operating for, I think, Guinea-Bissau departed TEB. [EDIT: And is coming to JFK via roughly Bridgeport. Probably should have taken the GWB]
1030: Dana hunu, Ethiopia! ETH8509 (B763/ET-ALJ) off EWR.
1035: The Monaco F7X 3A-MGA is off Cape Cod and heading to the area. It's used TEB in the past. [Nope, at FL430 past Montauk. Not New York-bound.] [EDIT2: Monaco has convinced Potomac Tracon that they're actually a country and are arriving ADW. Fun fact: at approximately 7 square miles, Andrews AFB is 9 times the size of Monaco]
1040: Sayonara, Japan! B744 20-1102 just off JFK. This is bound for Havana. The other Japan 744 went directly to IAD on Sunday, and I haven't seen it come up to this area at all.
1045: And there goes the Colombia 734 (FAC1209) from Stewart. Another "wait 'til next year" frame for me.
1120: AAAAAAAAAARGH, the other Japan (20-1101) departed JFK probably around 1100. Can't believe I missed this one again.
1140: Adios, Colombia! Their BBJ is cruising southbound from JFK.
1305: Mangi dem, Senegal! Adeus, Guinea-Bissau! 6V-ONE and P4-BFL both departing JFK in the past half-hour. Also have a Canadian Challenger (CFC3702/144615) descending for TEB, and the Bolivia F900 also inbound TEB. About 10 minutes away for both.
1340: BBJ VP-BOP as LGT1 is on approach to JFK. Be sure to adjust your white balance. I believe this is carrying the Palestinian delegation.
1400: G550 HZ-SK6 arriving JFK. Unknown if UN-related, but still probably worth highlighting any foreign biz jets.
1500: Iran 340 EP-AJA just off ADW; should arrive JFK around 1525, likely 13L.
1505: Honduras Legacy repositioning to JFK; Bolivia Falcon departing TEB. The Bolivian is headed for Gander, so looks like New York was just an intermediate stop on Evo's Big Adventure. [EDIT: Geneva after Gander.]
1630: Cote d'Ivoire a'Irbus off SWF for what appears to be EWR. VP-BOP has bopped off JFK eastbound. AF2 went LGA-ADW earlier this afternoon.
1650: Djibouti F7X J2-HPV reposition from SWF to JFK.
1730: Adios, Honduras! Haze grey and underway back to Tegucigalpa. [EDIT: Err, underway to Andrews]
1815: The Uganda G550 is on its way up from Dover to JFK, and I got a quick sniff of the Jordan G650 which was off ISP and went to LGA, I think.
1820: Better late than never, I suppose. Mali BBJ TZ-PRM is descending for JFK having come from Bamako.
1905: You go, TU-VAS! The Ivorian 319 is off EWR.
1910: Khoda hafez, Iran! EP-AJA is south of Block Island and heading away.
2010: What's shakin'? Djibouti! They departed JFK about 20 minutes ago. The pair of Turks (A332 TC-TUR and G550 TC-ATA) are both just about to arrive JFK from SWF. The Iraqi 772LR (YI-AQZ) is also off SWF and should be at JFK in about 15 minutes.
2045: VQ-BNZ, Jordan's G650 (registered in Bermuda, as one does), was indeed at LGA, but is now airborne over New England.
2050: Vistajet Global 9H-VJH, opf Sierra Leone based on the SL001 callsign, is inbound JFK from PNE. Don't think I've seen that one as an overflow airport before.
2125: The Mali has made its usual reposition to HPN.
2205: The Monegasque Falcon (yes, that's the proper adjective) is finally going to TEB, only 12 hours after I first thought it was going to. Fun Fact 2: At 827 acres, Teterboro airport is 1.66 times as large as Monaco.
2225: Kwaheri, Uganda! 5X-UGF has departed JFK. F7X A6-MMF has also just departed JFK under its usual MJE001 call.
Today's speakers: Cameroon, Cyprus, Sierra Leone, Lithuania, El Salvador, Iran, Kiribati, Benin, Cote d'Ivoire, Madagascar (the excellently-named Hery Martial Rajaonarimampianina Rakotoarimanana), Palestine, Norway, Israel, Monaco (but he only gets 30 seconds), Lebanon, Iraq, Vatican, Bulgaria, Rwanda, Liberia, Burkina Faso, Macedonia, Marshall Islands, Libya, Guatemala, Angola, Venezuela, Serbia, Greece, and Malta. There are available slots, but no speakers scheduled for Algeria, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Cuba, Netherlands, South Korea, Equatorial Guinea, and Paraguay.
Senga, thanks! I knew that blue bottom was familiar, I just couldn't place it.
Hi Matthew,
The Unknown a/c is N673BF B762. The second unknown a/c is (was) FAC B734. I see the the FAH E135 has titles on it now.
Awesome update Matthew :) Much better than my old spotting logs :)
Senga
Last night the Turkish A330, Iraq 777 and Mali came in and departed. Not sure if anything else came in or not last night after those aircraft.
Matthew, .... Thanks for the great info and updates. It's greatly appreciated.

FRIDAY
One that I didn't notice moving last night was the El Al 763. 0100 was pretty much the deadline to depart and still make it back to Israel before Shabbat, so it looks like they'll be in the US until at least tomorrow evening. Last year, they parked at a T4 hardstand.
Before 0930: Only one that I noticed moving was the Pakistan G450, J-756, which went to JFK.
1030: Get the Hellas out of HPN! Greek G-V 678 departed about 15 minutes ago. Call is HAF352B.
1450: I-TALY, an A345 arrived JFK. No points for guessing who it belongs to.
1645: RA-96017, the Russia IL-96, is on the move from ADW, likely coming to JFK. ETA ~1715.
1700: HZ-NSA went back to Newark.
1730: Arrivederci, unknown country whose delegation is using I-TALY!
1925: 767KS opf Chad and one of the Saudi BBJs are at JFK. [EDIT: HZ-MF1]
2030: Da svidanya, Rossiya! IL-96 RA-96017 blasted off 22R with a 4-engine roar. Sweet vindication for me.
2035: The Chad 762 is taxiing out.
2045: Was wondering when this would finally show. A319CJ A6-CJE inbound from the Cleveland Clinic on an Emirates callsign. Due JFK around 2115.
2235: Nindaare, Burkina Faso! B722 XT-BFA has departed from EWR.
Speakers list today is Albania, Guinea, Niger, Central African Republic, Comoros, Yemen, Haiti, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Moldova, Samoa, Belgium, Mauritius, Russia, Armenia, Germany, North Korea, Hungary, Sweden, Mali, Botswana, Indonesia, South Sudan, Nicaragua, Laos, Jamaica, Solomon Islands, Lesotho, Andorra, Vanuatu, Saint Vincent, Tuvalu, Sao Tome, Venezuela, Uzbekistan, Ecuador, Azerbaijan, DR Congo, and Morocco.
I barely made it out for the Italian Air Force A340-500 as it was totally unexpected. I did not get my alerts for it as they have apparently change the hexcode from when it was undergoing maintenance and test flights before entering VIP service. Thank goodness I had the IAM Code set for an alert so I logged it and noticed it after the fact. This aircraft was on my most wanted of new planes.

Great work everyone...... Mark your night shots are all butter.......

GREAT JOB EVERY ONE THANKS FOR THE UPDATE!!!!!!!!!! KEEP THEM COMING
SATURDAY:
1010: Nigeria BBJ repositioned from DOV to JFK.
...and that was about all. The Nigeria departed right around Noon.
As of this afternoon, the UAE 319 was at the northside cargo area, the El Al 763 was on a T4 hardstand, and the Saudi BBJ was at the ramp formerly known as the triple hangars.
The Kuwait 739 9K-GCC arrived Stewart last night, positioned over to JFK this evening and then departed.
SUNDAY:
0950: Ecuador F7X FAE-052 departing LGA in a direction that doesn't go over my house. Looks like it arrived from the north earlier this morning.
Also combing through some logs from yesterday, the French Falcon opf Togo departed TEB in the 0700 hour Saturday morning.
Evening: Aside from the Comlux (Thanks, Gordon), it looks like the Mali came down from HPN around 1730, loaded, and has now departed.
Curious about the whereabouts of the Ecuador Legacy. It went to FLL after its LGA dropoff, and their FM spoke yesterday.
The Comlux 767-200 that was up at SWF is now by the deicing hangar at JFK.
Any pics of the Iraqi, Iran and Zimbabwe in daylight this year?
So much for let's the games begin.. In my view this is the weakest UNGA yet, no contest compared to 2009 and 2013 when I visited JFK. I would've been interested only on the Iraqi, the Iran and the Zimbabwe would've given me only a Mona Lisa smile because of that awful new eurowhite livery disaster of theirs.
The Qatar 747 is down here in Miami at the Signature FBO, supposedly since Thursday and at that it's unshootable blocked by little bizjets. Not a big loss if i dont get it
Hi Mario,
Iraqi operated under the cover on darkness this year. I saw the Zimbabwe at the location of where the tipple hangars were getting ready to go. I can't be bothered to shoot the same planes time and time again as you can imagine. The stuff these days that fly in for the UNGA is like, "Oh thats cute" or "Cool new type" "Nice colors"- in most cases mediocre at best. They hardly bring out excitement like it did when I first started out doing the UNGA. I am glad I can just go out whenever something new shows up for me instead of having to spend nearly two weeks out running between 6 or so local airports as i used to in many years past. This was the first year I did not go to SWF. With that said its nice to add new VIPs frames to the collection and its one of my niche interests.
It kind of sucks when you go from a Gabon DC-8 to a 777
https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/669/21...3627fd69af.jpg
Angola 707 to a Global Express etc.
https://c2.staticflickr.com/8/7368/9...66f6403bef.jpg
Senga
Wiser words have never been spoken lol from DC8s and 707s to little airbuses and BBJs. Now I've also been told the Congo 707 is done too.. Also doesn't help that between Obama going away for good and the main agendas at the moment, a lot of heads of states of countries that can bring interesting aircraft decided to skip this one.
Thanks Isaac!
Still have plenty of more to process but here is a last minute catch. Thanks Senga!
